SICILY: CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES AND THE LITURGY OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION
On December 4th 2019, all the activities linked to the project “Briciole di Salute” continued in Patti in favor of the Franciscan Sisters who run the “Holy Family” Diocesan House. Volunteers Tony Zarrillo and Francesco Guerrera delivered various products to Sister Rita, including cookies donated by Fratelli Costa confectionery in Piedimonte Etneo (CT).
On December 8th HE Msgr Michele Pennisi, Archbishop of Monreale and Prior of Sicily, celebrated a solemn Mass on the occasion of the Immaculate Conception at the Cathedral of Monreale. Many Knights and Dames were present. A procession took place after the religious ceremony.
Mr. Gregory Dendramis, under the Vice Delegate’s guide, went to Piana degli Albanesi to deliver food and products for the “Briciole di Salute” project.

SICILY: ACTIVITIES OF THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER
On November 15th, HRH Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies inaugurated “the room of the Two Sicilies” at the archiepiscopal seminary of Messina, which contains valuable documents and books about Messina’s history. Mr. Franz Riccobono illustrated the entire collection to the Princess. Before the inauguration, during a conference, the Princess communicated to HE Msgr. Cesare Di Pietro, vicar bishop of Messina, that HRH the Grand Master had named him Grand Officer of Ecclesiastical Grace. The Sicilian Vice Delegate, the representative of Catania Antonino Amato and the Marquis Mirti della Valle attended.
On November 20th, Mr. Giuseppe Longo and Mr. Massimo Vacanti delivered food, seasonal fruits and other food products to the “Madonna della Tenda di Cristo” center in Acireale.
On November 27th, the second distribution of the “Briciole di Salute” project took place in Monreale. Vice Delegate and Volunteers Daniela Prestigiacomo and Sonia Lo Monaco distributed Italian pasta, baby food, biscuits, diapers and typical Italian Christmas cakes (panettoni).
On November 27th 2019, the usual distribution of clothes and toys for children from 0 to 3 years old took place in favor of needy children in Piazza Armerina. Mr. Matteo Bertino and Mr. Marco Milazzo were present.

PIEDMONT: HOLY MASS IN CASALE MONFERRATO
On November 27th, the solemn oath of the State Police of Alexandria took place in Casale Monferrato. Among the many authorities, we mention the Prefect, the Questor of Alessandria province and various commanders of finance, “carabinieri” and firefighters of the province, as well as the director of the institutes of state police, Mrs. Maria Luisa Pellizzari.
Mrs. Simona Delfino, Chaplain Don Augusto Piccoli, Councilor Carmine Passalacqua and Marquis Davide Buzzi Langhi attended as well.

TUSCNANY: PROJECTS “CITTA’ CARDIOPROTETTE” AND “BRICIOLE DI SALUTE”
Prato, November 22nd, 2019 – Father Rodolfo Rossi, Vice Prior of the delegation, assisted by Knights Dino Greco and Giacomo Perrina, and the President of the non-profit organization “Regalami un Sorriso”, Piero Giacomelli, donated to Commissioner of Prato Dott. Alessio Cesareo, a defibrillator to be used for the community. This donation is part of the project “Città Cardio Protette”.
Livorno, November 30th, 2019 – The Knights of the Tuscan delegation donated to Fr. Valerio Barbieri, Sant’Agostino parish of Livorno, basic foodstuffs for poor families, as part of the project “Briciole di salute”.

LOMBARY: ACTIVITIES OF THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER
Brescia, November 16th, 2019 – Mr. Daniele Gavezzoli, in the presence of Bishop Claudio Paganini, delivered about 150 kg of fresh fruit and vegetables to Agnese Zinelli, president of the Caritas San Vincenzo, parish of Paoli de Cellatica. The food will meet the needs of families of the area.
On the same date, Mr. Stefano Villotta, Mr. Nicola Salvi and the decorated Claudio Gaole, on behalf of the Prior Arnaldo Morandi, gave the Salesian Institute of the Nave 10 quintals of firewood.
Brescia, November 26th, 2019 – Mgr. Arnaldo Morandi, Mirandola and Magro, according to the proposal of the representative of Brescia and Mantua, Professor Silvestro Specchia, gave the White Cross of Brescia about 500 kg of Dehydrated foodstuffs and legumes to meet the needs of approximately 60 needy families.

TRIVENETO: DONATION CEREMONY
On November 19th, the delegation donated “VeinViewer”, a high-tech infrared visualizer, to the pediatric operating unit at the Cà Foncello Hospital in Treviso. It is a tool that will reduce the pain of our little patients. During the donation ceremony, Mrs. Maria Rosaria Laganà, Prefect of Treviso, was present as a guest of honor and was accompanied by the highest civil and military authorities of the territory.
The Vice Delegate Lucio Pasqualetto was accompanied by the representatives for the cities of Venice, Chioggia and Treviso. A lot of attention has been paid by the local media too.

LIGURIA: CELEBRATION OF THE VIRGO FIDELIS
In honor of the Virgin Mary, “Virgo Fidelis” patron of the “carabinieri” (Italian Police), the representatives of the Ligurian delegation took part in the ceremony which was held at the former archpriest of Saints Nazario and Celso, in Arenzano.Various associations and mayors of the region of the western part of Genoa were present.

LOMBARDY: ACTIVITIES IN BRESCIA
Brescia, November 13th, 2019 – Mr. Stefano Villotta, Mr. Nicola Salvi, Mr. Luciano Mazzola and Mr. Claudio Gaole have handed to the Salesian Institute of Nave foodstuffs and 200 kg of pasta for the needy people.
Brescia, November 14th, 2019 – On behalf of the Prior Arnaldo Morandi, a large amount of food for needy families was donated to the Caritas of the parish of the city “Sante Bartolomea Capitanio and Vincenza Gerosa”.
Brescia, November 14th, 2019 – On behalf of the Prior Arnaldo Morandi, a group of Knights participated in a Mass celebrated by H.E.R. the Bishop of Brescia, Msgr. Pierantonio Tremolada.
