  • A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE ITALIAN RED CROSS AND THE CONSTANTINIAN ORDER WAS SIGNED

    The ceremony for the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the National Committee of the Italian Red Cross and the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George was held in Rome on December, 4th 2018 at 4pm. The National President of the Red Cross Mr. Francesco Rocca and the Grand Master of the Constantinian Order, HRH Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro signed the agreement.

    The fundamental objectives the document is based on are:

    • protection of the health and life;

    • promotion of the social activities;

    • help in case of emergencies and disasters, providing a prompt response to community needs;

    • promotion of rights, in particular of International Humanitarian Law, Fundamental Principles, Humanitarian Values and International Cooperation;

    • implementation of initiatives to offer support to young people;

    • development, communication and promotion of volunteering.

    Both the Grand Master and Mr. Rocca said they were fully satisfied with the agreement reached. At the end of the ceremony, the Duke of Castro handed the gold medal of merit to the Italian Red Cross flag.

  • PRESENTATION OF “MODERNE ODISSEE” BOOK BY H.E. AMBASSADOR ANTONIO MORABITO

    Rome, December 5th 2018. This afternoon the presentation of the book “Moderne Odissee” written by H.E. Ambassador Antonio Morabito took place at the Almo Collegio Capranica in the presence of HRH Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro and Grand Master. The event was organized under the patronage of the Constantinian Order. Lots of Knights and Dames of the Roman delegation attended as well.

  • GENERAL SECRETARY DESIGNATION

    red_crossRome, December 1st 2018 – HRH Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Grand Master, decided to designate Mr. Giampaolo Grazian as General Secretary of the Constantinian Order. Mr. Grazian has been given all necessary powers to coordinate the Chancellery and the Delegations’ activities.

  • TRH PRINCE CHARLES AND PRINCESS CAMILLA OF BOURBON TWO SICILIES, DUKES OF CASTRO IN ROME

    TRH Prince Charles and Princess Camilla of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Dukes of Castro, accompanied by TRH Princesses Maria Carolina and Maria Chiara of Bourbon Two Sicilies, will spend a few days in Rome and will take part in some important institutional events.

    On December 4th at 11.30am at Via Ramazzini15 the Salvamamme Association will present its initiatives for Christmas, in the presence of HRH Princess Camilla of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duchess of Castro, who is Ambassador of the association, Mrs. Grazia Passeri, President of the Association, Mrs. Debora Diodati, President of the Italian Red Cross and Mrs. Angela Lionetti, Italian Red Cross Referent for Salvamamme.

    On the same day, at 4pm, the Memorandum of Understanding between the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of San Giorgio and the Italian Red Cross will be presented and signed by the Grand Master HRH Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro and the lawyer Francesco Rocca. At the end of the ceremony, the Duke of Castro will deliver the gold medal of merit to the Italian Red Cross flag.

    On December 5th at 5pm the Dukes of Castro will attend the presentation of the book “Moderne Odissee” written by H.E Ambassador Antonio Morabito. The event was organized under the patronage of the Constantinian Order and will take place at the Almo Collegio Capranica- Piazza Capranica, 98.

  • LOMBARDY: COLLABORATION BETWEEN THE CONSTANTINIAN ORDER AND THE ITALIAN RED CROSS

    Bergamo,  November 27th 2018. Today Mrs.Veronica Grillo, representative for Bergamo, thanks to Fabio Conti and Ivan Scelsa’s active collaboration, gave Mr. Francesco Di Quattro a substantial supply of bottles of mineral water, generously offered from the local company Fonte Stella Alpina.

  • PIEDMONT AND VALLE D’AOSTA: FUNDRAISING IN TURIN

    The representative of the city of Turin, Mr. Massimo Trasforini, organized for December 2nd, 2018 a fundraising on the occasion of the 1st Cus Torino-Kumite Trophy, a sport event promoted by Mr Vincenzo Lacassia with 1000 athletes coming from 6 Italian regions. During the event some folders of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George will be distributed.

    On November 21st, the Vice Delegate, accompanied by Mr. Gaetano Giarrusso, Mrs. Lia Giangreco, Mrs. Daniela Prestigiacomo, Mrs. Sonia Lo Monaco and  Mrs. Antonella Zito, delivered some garrisons for early childhood.

    On November 23rd, the Vice Delegate donated some diapers, milk powder and baby food to the head of Caritas of S. Martino delle Scale, Father Bernardo.

  • TUSCANY: BRICIOLE DI SALUTE IN FLORENCE

    Florence, November 24th 2018- Mr. Costantino Calcabrina, representative for the city of Florence, donated some basic foodstuffs to the canteen of the Diocesan Caritas in Via della Porcellana (Florence), to be distributed to the needy of the community on behalf of the Tuscan Delegation. The donation is part of the project “Briciole di Salute”.
