Naples, March, 16th 2018 – Even this year the Delegation of Naples and Campania participated at the important AIRC fundraising, which took place in Naples. A lot of Easter eggs were sold. Marquise Federica De Gregorio Cattaneo, Delegate for Campania, thanked all the participants and the AIRC Board in her speech. All the proceeds were given to cancer research. Sveva Donadoni, Stefano Cimaglia Gonzaga, Alfredo Barone Lumaga, Sergio Cappelli, Mariano Bruno, Luigi Andreozzi, Roberta Buccino Grimaldi, Alessandra Sottile d’Alfano (AIRC Advisor) attended the event.



HRH Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro and Grand Master, presents HE Timothy Cardinal Dolan, Cardinal Archbishop of New York, with the decoration and brevet of Bailiff Grand Cross of Justice during his visit to the United States.

Livorno, March, 16th 2018. Some Knights of the Tuscan Delegation donated basic commodities to Don Luciano, the priest of San Giovanni Bosco Chuch. This donation goes to the needy people of the community.
On March, 16th the Vice Delegate of Sicily, with some Knights of the delegation, donated the monthly amount of fish to S. Mamiliano canteen, created by Msgr. Bucaro and run by some volunteers.
The same day a pretty decent quantity of medicines was offered to the Vincentian nuns of the centre of Palermo.

During the month the delegation also donated some packages of food and candies to Madonna della Tenda di Cristo, a structure which hosts women who have been harassed and their children.

Rosarno (RC), March, 15th 2018. Some Knights of the delegation, in collaboration with the local Caritas and Santa Barbara Onlus Association members, discovered a terrible situation in San Ferdinando (Reggio Calabria). The makeshift camp was in desperate conditions, abandoned and with the lack of safety and cleanliness. Moreover, dozens of men and women lived there crammed in crumbling tents. The delegation, guided by Mr. Badolati and the other associations, prepared a field kitchen and served 200 hot meals.



On March, 13th 2018 a semi-automatic defibrillator was donated to “Casa della Comunità Speranza” by the Sicilian delegation. This donation was adressed to the Diocese in Mazara del Vallo. H. Eminence Msgr Domenico Mogavero decided to devolve it to “Casa della Comunità Speranza”, which is run by the Franciscan nuns. Thanks to the volunteers’ permanent commitment, lots of migrants can take part in the sport activities of the Community.

On March 14th the usual distribution took place. The Vice Delegate and some Knights and Dames of the delegation donated nappies, biscuits, products for children and milk to 50 families.
