  • SICILY: BRICIOLE DI SALUTE IN ACIREALE

    The Delegation of Sicily continues its assistance activities to the neediest people.
    In January many donations took place in Catania and in Acireale to Casa della Carità and Madonna della Tenda di Cristo Community respectively.
    Both associations have a deep bond with the Order. At Casa della Carità Don Scrivato celebrates the mass each Sunday and the Sicilian Knights have participated in the liturgy several times, also providing food, medicines and clothes.
    It is important to remember that HRH Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Grand Prefect visited Madonna della Tenda di Cristo Community last October.

  • TRIVENETO: “BRICIOLE DI SALUTE” IN LONIGO

    Lonigo (Vi),  January, 27th 2018.  Another donation that is part of the national project “Briciole di Salute” took place in Lonigo. 1400 packages of food were donated to the canteen of the poorest people of San Daniele Monastery which belongs to the Franciscan monks of the town. This initiative was promoted by the Representative of the city of Vicenza and Padua. The Representative organised the transportation of the food; a huge help regarding the logistics was given by  Mr. Francesco Lonigo, Mr. Lorenzo Segarizzi, Mr. Antonio Frazza and other volunteers and friends of the Order. The Prior and the confreres accepted the donation with gratitutide and emotional involvement.

  • Sardinia: January 29th 2018 Activity

    Cagliari, January 29th 2018. Knights and Dames met at San Giovanni di Dio hospital chapel in order to celebrate an intercession mass for TRH Prince Ferdinando and Princess Chantal of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Dukes of Castro and for Mons.Ottorino Pietro Alberti, Archbishop emeritus of Cagliari. Mr. Massimiliano Masia, Delegate for Sardinia, Mr. Franco Locci, Delegate for Cagliari and Medio Campidano,  Mr. Antonello Sebis, Secretary of the Delegation, Gen. Giovanni Garau, Mr. Felicetti Contu, Mr. Potito Antolini and Mr. Giampiero Atzeri participated at the ceremony.

    The liturgy was chaired by Don Francesco Farris, spiritual guide of the delegation, who talked about the importance of charity and assistance to the poorest and the sick people.

    Some charitable projects were approuved and will be implemented in 2018. They will be declared in the next weeks.

  • ALESSANDRIA – MASS FOR THE BEATIFIED MARIA CRISTINA – 2018

    Foto2alOn January, 27th 2018 the Delegation of Piedmont celebrated the beatified Maria Cristina, Queen of Two Sicilies, at St. Giovannino Church in Alessandria.

    At the beginning of the liturgy the Rapresentative of the city, Mr. Roberto Piccinini, greeted all those who were present on behalf of the Vice Delegate of Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta, Mr. Mario Baschirotto, and explained the profile and the actions carried out by “the Holy Queen”, Victor Emmanuel I of Savoy’s daughter. Maria Cristina became Quen after marrying to Ferdinand II of Two Sicilies.

  • LOMBARDY: INTERCESSION MASS FOR MARIA CRISTINA OF BOURBON TWO SICILIES

    Milan, January, 26th January 2018. A liturgy was celebrated on the occasion of Maria Cristina of Bourbon’s beatification anniversary at Chiesa del Carmine in Milan. The ceremony was chaired by Don Maurizio Celani. There were some Knights of the Lombard Delegation, guided by the Vice Delegate Mr. Giuseppe Rizzani and the Representative for the city of Monza, Mr. Giuseppe Perego.

  • SICILIA: BRICIOLE DI SALUTE IN BARRAFRANCA AND PALERMO

    On January, 26th 2018 a liturgy was celebrated on the occasion of Maria Cristina of Bourbon’s beatification anniversary at San Francesco Church in Barrafranca (Enna). The Queen of Two Sicilies was called the “Holy Queen” by her beloved people. At the end of the ceremony some donations, which are part of “Briciole di Salute”, were made.

    The Delegation osf Sicily offered 100 kilos of different kinds of pasta at the Real Ancient Carolina Church. Donations take place monthly. The confreres accepted the donation and will offer it to the needy people of the area.

  • LOMBARDY: “BRICIOLE DI SALUTE” IN BRESCIA

    Brescia

    Brescia, January, 24th 2018. Today, in accordance with the Brescian Diocesan Caritas and in the framework of the activities of “Briciole di Salute”, some volunteers of the delegation purchased and donated 36 large packages of food- mostly pasta- to Brescia Est Caritas. The donation is adressed to families and old people.

  • PIEDMONT: BRICIOLE DI SALUTE IN TURIN

    Turin, January 23rd 2018. The Delegation of Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta donated food and basic products to the Community for minors “Pro Infantia Derelicta” in Turin. The Vice Delegate for Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta, Mr. Mario Baschirotto, Don Augusto Piccoli, the Representative for the city of Cuneo, Mr. Bruno Pietro and some Knights of the delegation participated. After the donation, a convivial meeting  and a discussion on the past activities and the following ones took place at “Circolo Ufficiali” in Turin.
