June – The Delegation for Milan and Lombardy sponsors the project “The Hunger of our Neighbour” so strongly supported by Grand Master, H.R.H. Prince Charles of Bourbon – Two Sicilies, a program that concerns not only nourishment aspects, but all the needs in the life of each one of us. For this reason the Delegation was involved in a release from seizure operation carried out by the Guardia di Finanza, conducted by Major Marco Salvagno, Commander of the Green Berets Ready Response Force of Torino. The commitment and involvement of Knights Luigi Rogliano and Gaetano Ruocco was decisive in this undertaking. After personally drafting the report and organising the transportation they were assisted by Prior Monsignor Arnaldo Morandi in delivering at least 5,000 articles of clothing to the offices of Brescia, Bergamo and Como. Representatives of these provinces then contacted local social services to distribute the material to the needy of their respective areas of competence.

CONFERRAL OF GOLD MEDAL TO THE “AOSTA MECHANISED BRIGADE COMMAND”
Messina, Friday, July 1, 2016 – The ceremony for conferral of the Gold Medal of Merit of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St. George took place on July 1, 2016, at the headquarters of the Aosta Mechanised Brigade.
The Vice Delegate for Sicily, Dott. Antonio di Janni, Knight Grand Cross of Grace, together with Prof. Giovani Bonanno, Knight Commander of Merit with Star and Rev. Father Vincenzo Castiglione, Ecclesiastical Knight Commander of Grace, was received by the Commander of the Aosta Brigade, General Mauro D’Ubaldi. During the ceremony the Aosta Brigade was congratulated for its humanitarian work in Afghanistan, highlighting not only the military aspects but also the humanitarian work carried out in support of initiatives and events to foster peaceful coexistence among peoples of different ethnic backgrounds and religious beliefs in order to promote peace and brotherhood. The Sicily Delegation was presented with two Crests of the Mission in Afghanistan and the Aosta Brigade while the Delegation awarded two celebratory medals to the Brigade. The official ceremony began with the fanfare of the Aosta Mechanised Brigade performing a concert in honour of the Constantinian Delegation. At the conclusion of the ceremony Colonel Corrado Benzi, Chief of Staff of the Aosta Brigade, was awarded a certificate of Knight of Merit with Star. -
CONCORDIA SAGITTARIA – 25 JUNE 2016 – FORMATION MEETING
Concordia Sagittaria, 25th June 2016. The training conference for the Knights and Dames of the Order and for the volunteers has been held at the Auditorium “Rufinio Turranio” in Concordia Sagittaria (VE) introduced by the Vice Delegate for the Triveneto, Giorgio Miccoli, Commander of Merit with star, and the Prior of the Delegation, Msgr. Arnaldo Greco.
This event is mandatory for the volunteers and it has already received the approval of His Excellency Msgr. Giuseppe Pellegrini, Bishop of Concordia-Pordenone, and of Don Livio Corazza, Archpriest of the “Santo Stefano Promartire” Cathedral in Concordia Sagittaria.
At the end, all participants walked through the “Holy Door of Mercy” of the Cathedral, where a solemn Mass has been celebrated by the Prior and all the Constantinian chaplains of Triveneto.
The delegation will support the initiative for the help and the welcome of youth, “Soggiorno Alpino” in Tramonti di Sopra (PN), organized by the Diocese of Concordia-Pordenone, with fundraising events. -
TUSCANY – 25 JUNE 2016 – CULTURAL MEETING
Arliano, 25 June 2016. In the Diocesan House “Monsignor E. Bartoletti” of Arliano (LU) has been held the 2nd Congress organized by the Delegation of Tuscany.The handbook “For a spiritual journey of the Constantinian Knights and Dames“, edited by impulse of His Eminence Cardinal Raffaele Martino has been illustrated and presented by Msgr. Giovanni Scarabelli, Ecclesiastical Commander of Grace. Then Don Donato Mollica, Ecclesiastical Knight of explained the special plenary indulgence granted by Pope Francis to the Constantinian Order and Professor Leo Giancarlo Lazzari, Knight of Merit with star,introduced two important papal documents: The papal bulls “Sincerae Fidei” and “Militantis Ecclesiae”.

MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE FOR THE ORLANDO TERRORIST ATTACK
The Grand Master of the Constantinian Order stands in unity with the suffering people of Orlando in the wake of the horrendous terrorist attacks. For this reason, he sent this message of Condolence to the entire USA Delegation.
The Constantinian Order prays for the victims of the senseless brutality, the wounded and the families of all affected.

BRESCIA, 10 JUNE 2016 – PRESENTATION MEETING
In the historic hall of the Popes of the Diocesan Center “Paolo VI”, a meeting of the Delegation of Brescia and Bergamo has been held to define the commitments and to plan the next charitable activities on the territory.The event was organized by Msgr. Arnaldo Morandi, Representative for Brescia and Bergamo, Prior of the Delegation of Milan and Lombardy, as well as General Secretary of the Office of the Grand Prior. The Grand Treasurer, His Excellency Don Gian Carlo Rocco di Torre Padula, Delegate of Lombardy, Don Andrea Imperiali dei Principi di Francavilla, Vice Delegate, Sergio Antonuzzi, and the Representative for Como, Giuseppe Rizzani, took part in the meeting.
After a brief presentation and introduction of the new dignitaries, Msgr. Arnaldo Morandi distribuited a copy of the Handbook “For a spiritual journey of the Constantinian Knights and Dames“.
The event was attended by numerous Knights and Dames, family members and friends of the Order in a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere, aimed to reach the possibility of listening to the words of these authorities, and to note the perfect harmony with the instructions of the Grand Master.

REGGIO CALABRIA – CONFERENCE – 4 JUNE 2016
Reggio Calabria, 4th June 2016. In the church of “San Giorgio al Corso” has been held a conference entitled “The Blessed Maria Cristina: Mother, Queen, Saint“, sponsored by the Delegation of Calabria.
After the introduction held by the Vice Delegate, Aurelio Badolati, Commander of Merit with star, Emanuele Nazario Scarlata, Knight of Merit and Representative for the City of Reggio Calabria, and Maria Teresa Battiato Baccellieri, President of Reggio Calabria Conferences of Culture “Maria Cristina di Savoia”, made a presentation of the last queen of the Kingdom of Two Sicilies, a sovereign loved for her frequent acts of charity and generosity towards poor, for her simple life, for her exemplary religious conduct.
After the successful event, a Mass has been celebrated by Msgr. Antonio Morabito, Prior of the Delegation, and Don Nuccio Santoro. -
ALESSANDRIA, 20 MAY – CONFERENCE “THE CHURCH OF SAINT GIOVANNINO: FROM KNIGHT OF MALTA TO CONSTANTINIANS”
Alessandria, 20th May 2016. A conference, entitled “The Church of Saint Giovannino: from the Knights of Malta to Constantinians” has been held in Palazzo Conzani by Roberto Piccinini, Knight of Office, Prior of the Brotherhood of the Holy Cross. The Church of San Giovannino, the second most important in Alessandria, is an institution beloved by the Constantinian Knights and Dames, where monthly meetings and praying take place. The debate, moderated by Fabio Robotti, Knight of Office, was attended by Alessandro Medici, Knight of Merit with star, Representative for Alessandria and Asti, and several members of the Order, as well as representatives of some Club Service of the town; the revenue of the evening has been donated to charity.

MONREALE 1 JUNE 2016 – NEW CRUMBS OF HEALTH
Monreale, 1st June 2016. At the Church of “Maria S.S degli Agonizzanti”, the project “New Crumbs of Health”, organized by the Delegation of Sicily, keeps on.
Volunteers, led by the Vice Delegate, Antonio di Janni, Knight Grand Cross of Grace, have been providing, infants’ products (milk, soup, pasta, baby foods, biscuits, nappies), and some baby clothes, to about 40 needy families from the town’s hinterland. -
TRIVENETO, 29 MAY 2016 – CORPUS DOMINI
Visco (UD) and Trieste, 29th May 2016. Representatives of the Delegation of the Triveneto, led by the Vice Delegate Giorgio Miccoli, Knight Commander of Merit with Star, attended the Solemnity of Corpus Domini, in Visco (UD) and in Trieste.The Solemn Ceremony has been celebrated in Visco by the Parish Priest, Don Giorgio Longo, Ecclesiastical Knight of Grace, and in Trieste by His Excellency Msgr. Giampaolo Crepaldi, Bishop of Trieste and Ecclesiastical Knight Grand Cross of Grace.
