  • NAPLES AND CAMPANIA: INAUGURATION OF THE CONSTANTINIAN AMBULATORY

    In the presence of His Eminence Cardinal Sepe and of HRH Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies, the inauguration of the Constantinian ambulatory took place at the Royal Basilica of San Francesco di Paola,. The Constantinian ambulatory will offer free consultations to the needy people.

  • NAPLES AND CAMPANIA: SOLEMN MASS AT THE BASILICA OF SAN FRANCESCO DI PAOLA

    On November 9th, Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe, Archbishop of Naples, presided the solemn celebration for the ceremony of handing over to Father Mario Savarese at the Royal Pontifical Basilica of San Francesco di Paola. The Grand Prefect, HRH Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies, attended the solemn ceremony with a large group of knights of the delegation. Our Order also offered a guard of honor at the entrance of Cardinal Sepe and during the ceremony. HRH the Grand Prefect and the Order itself were thanked by His Eminence Cardinal Sepe for their charitable activities.

  • NAPLES AND CAMPANIA: HOLY MASS ON THE OCCASION OF THE CELEBRATION OF SAINT CHARLES

    On the occasion of the celebration of Saint Charles, the Knights and Dames of delegation, including many Guard of Honor volunteers, celebrated a Mass at the Basilica of Saint Claire in Naples in tribute to King Charles and King Francis I. The Knights paid tribute to HRH the Duke of Castro, Head of the Royal House and Grand Master, recalling the many charitable activities he has carried out and which still carries out.

  • NAPLES AND CAMPANIA: HOLY MASS IN MEMORY OF MARIA SOPHIE OF BOURBON AND OF FERDINAD IV

    On October 10th, 2019, the Knights, Dames and volunteers of the Honor Guard of the Holy Order gathered in prayer at the Basilica of Santa Chiara in Naples for a Holy Mass in memory of Queen Maria Sophie of Bourbon and of King Ferdinand IV. Soldiers of the King’s First Regiment, a cultural recreation association, also participated in the celebration.

  • NAPLES AND CAMPANIA: HRH THE GRAND PREFECT IN PIETRARSA

    On October 5th, commemorations were held at the National Museum of Pietrarsa, in memory of the 180th anniversary of the inauguration of the peninsula’s first railway, which was made by Ferdinand II of Bourbon.

    HRH Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Grand Prefect of the Constantinian Order, visited the Pietrarsa Museum and was accompanied by Marquise Federica De Gregorio Cattaneo, the General Director of the Fondazione Ferrovie dello Stato, Ing. Luigi Francesco Cantamessa Armati, the museum’s director, Oreste Orvitti, the president of the ENEA research center in Portici, Dr. Aldo Parisi, the head of the philatelic sector of the Italian post office, Dr. Maria Grazia Paris, who have made a special obliteration for the occasion, and by some Knights of the Order.

    During the visit to the various pavilions of the Museum, the caretakers recalled the history of the place and described future projects for the historical and cultural improvement of the site, which has reached an international importance.

  • NAPLES AND CAMPANIA: CEREMONY FOR SAINT JANUARIUS

    Naples, September 19th, 2019 – A big group of Knights and Dames of the delegation of Naples and Campania participated, with their mantles, in the Holy Mass at the Duomo on the occasion of the Solemnity of Saint Januarius.

  • NAPLES AND CAMPANIA: CELEBRATIONS IN HONOR OF SAINT ANNA

    Savignano Irpino, July 26th, 2019 – A group of Knights and Dames of the delegation of Naples and Campania attended the solemn celebrations, deeply felt by the Knights themselves and by the many faithful who came, in honor of Saint Anna, the Patron of Savignano Irpino. The religious function, followed by a procession through the streets of the city, was celebrated by H.E. Mons. Sergio Melillo, bishop of the diocese of Ariano Irpino – Lacedonia.

  • CAMPANIA: SEVERAL ACTIVITIES IN THE PRESENCE OF HRH THE GRAND PREFECT IN NAPLES

    The delegation was able to organize aa double charity event with the AIRC: the knights and the dames of the delegation bought many Easter eggs, whose income will go to cancer research. These eggs will then be donated to the canteens which offer hot meals to the needy people.

    On April 12th, the meals were entirely offered by the knights of the delegation, in the presence of HRH Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Grand Prefect at the parish of San Pasquale in Chiaia. Easter eggs were also given as gifts to those in need. Giannangelo Marciano, Stefano Cimaglia Gonzaga, Anna Montella, Luigi De Angelis and many volunteers contributed to the success of the event.

    On April 14th, a visit was made to the Sisters of Mercy, in the presence of HRH the Grand Prefect, Baron de Lutio, Chevalier de Angelis and Leopoldo de Gregorio Cattaneo in order to donate Airc’s Easter eggs.

    On April 13th the ceremony of the old square Vittorio Emanuele II, now renamed in honour of Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies, took place. Many knights and supporters gathered to attend the event. The square was full of people and the crowd cheered on HRH Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies, godmother of the event. The meeting with the school groups and the “children’s council” was very moving as well. An exchange of gifts also took place with the mayor. The Grand Prefect also received the prestigious  Troisi Award.

    HRH the Grand Prefect also went to the Royal Archipendery of San Giorgio a Cremano with the Constantinian Honor Guard.

  • CAMPANIA: MANY ACTIVITIES IN THE PRESENCE OF HRH THE GRAND PREFECT

    For the improvement of the whole territory, on March 2nd, HRH Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Grand Prefect and  Marquise Federica De Gregorio Cattaneo dei Principi di Sant’Elia have made a private visit to the Palace of Portici with the help and support of Alessandro Manna, President of the Association of these royal sites. Accompanied by Eugenio Gervasio, they visited the Wine Museum, which is now under construction. In the early afternoon, a visit was made to Villa Campolieto, property of the Ente Ville Vesuviane, where they were received by the KARMA cultural association that presented to Princess Beatrice their historical show “Alla Corte dei Borbone”, and whose founding members Antonio Raia and Antonio Ruocco, together with the Delegate of the Ente Ville Vesuviane Foundation, accompanied the delegation on a guided tour of the town and its rooms.

    On Sunday, March 3rd, Marquise Federica de Gregorio Cattaneo Dei Principi Di Sant’Elia, Mr. Diomede Gersone and Princess Beatrice sent a recorded message to an Italian-Canadian community that found its own identity as a community in a foreign country in the proximity to the historic Bourbon dynasty and the Southern Italian culture.

    On March 4th, HRH Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Marquise Federica De Gregorio Cattaneo dei Principi di Sant’Elia and a large representation of knights of the Neapolitan delegation went to the Royal Palace of Naples, where a ceremony was held to deliver the commemorative plaque of the restoration of the clock on the façade of the Palazzo Reale in Naples, financed by the Neapolitan delegation of the Order thanks to the financial contribution of 5 aspiring Knights, and carried out by the Mr. Michele Torre. The delegate from Naples and Campania has personally followed the coordination with the Superintendency and the relative permits for the restoration and plaque. The delegation received a warm welcome with a welcome cocktail on the beautiful terrace of the royal palace and then made a special visit to the bedroom with frescoes by Carlo and Maria Amalia of Bourbon, always guided by the architect Paolo Mascilli Migliorini, director- coordinator of architectural restoration works for the Royal Palace. The commemorative plaque of the restoration was made by the Delegation of Naples and Campania, which entrusted the work to Mr. Michele Torre, who restored it after 35 years.

  • CAMPANIA: CELEBRATION FOR MARIA CRISTINA OF SAVOY

    Aversa, January 29th, 2019 – On the anniversary of her death, Blessed Maria Cristina, Queen of the Two Sicilies, was remembered with a Mass at the Cathedral of Aversa presided over by H.E. Msgr. Angelo Spinillo, Bishop of the city. At the end of the celebration, organized by the local offices of the Maria Cristina di Savoia Cultural Conferences, an image of the Sovereign was blessed, embellished by an altarpiece created and donated by the Neapolitan Art Master Mario Compostella, official supplier of the Royal House of Bourbon Two Sicilies. Many Knights and Dames of the delegation also attended.
