San Francesco da Paola, 17^th November 2015.  At 6 p.m., at the Basilica of San Francesco da Paola, a Holy Mass was celebrated in memory of the fallen during the French massacres.  The Liturgy was highly anticipated by HRH Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies and was co-celebrated by our Ecclesiastic Knight Don Claudio Mancusi.  In attendance were the Delegate for Campania, Don Pierluigi Sanfelice di Bagnoli, the entire Delegation Council for Campania, a large number of Constantinian Dames and Knights, in addition to many Neopolitan citizens who, taking part in the commemoration, highly appreciated the goodwill of the Grand Master, HRH Prince Charles.

Naples, 13^th November 2015.  The presentation of the book “The Voyager. Achille Lauro, a lifetime at sea.” by Achille Lauro took place at the Institute of Southern Culture in Naples.  After an introduction made by the Chairman of the Institute, Gennaro Famiglietti,  and following a welcome speech delivered by the Constantinian Delegate for Campania, Marquis Don Pierluigi Sanfelice di Bagnoli, the two dignitaries took it in turns to narrate the life of Achille Lauro Giuseppe Del Barone, Umberto Ranieri and Riccardo Villari.  A long life that of Lauro’s, spent in many capacities: as a ship owner with the second largest fleet in Italy; as a politician as Mayor of Naples and as a sportsman in his capacity as president of the local football club.

Naples, 12^th November 2015.  At 10.30 a.m. at the Headquarters of the Naples Harbour Master’s Office, the Delegate for Campania, Marquis Don Pierluigi Sanfelice di Bagnoli, met Rear Admiral Arturo Faraone, Maritime Director of Campania and Chief of the Maritime Region, Harbour Master of the Port of Naples, and also a Constantinian confrère.  Marquis Sanfelice mentioned the many activities that the Campania Delegation carries out for the benefit of the needy and also talked about the humanitarian missions conducted overseas by the Delegation and the National Rescue Body of the Order, without forgetting to mention also the numerous cultural activities organized and attended by the Order.

Naples, 10^th November 2015. An agreement has been signed with the Association “Notre Napule ‘a Visionaire” for the implementation of joint cultural and social projects.  The objective is to create a partnership aimed at promoting cultural events between Naples and Provence relating to the Angevin period: infact, so much of that period can be found in Naples, as for example the bust of Saint Gennaro made by two Provençal  goldsmiths.  And also in Provence, Neapolitan customs survive and prosper, both in music and the culinary arts, or in the similarities between the Neapolitan and Provençal dialects.

Benevento, 3^rd November 2015.  At 11.30 a.m., the Delegate for Campania, Marquis Don Pierluigi Sanfelice di Bagnoli, upon invitation from  Confrère Massimo Contini, paid a visit to the Olympic Fencing Academy of Benevento which has unfortunately been rendered unusable by the flood of 15^th October that severely hit Benevento and some areas of the province.  During the visit, Marquis Sanfelice congratulated Olympic gold medallist Dino Meglio for his great athletic skills at international level and expressed the hope to see the establishment of a structure that would actively help the resumption of sports activities at the same Academy.  Pierluigi Sanfelice extended his stay in Benevento to visit Palazzo Mosti, the Town Hall of Benevento, where he met Honourable Giovanni Zarro representing the Mayor.

Campobasso, August 7, 2015. The Knight of Merit Giuseppe  D’Amico, on behalf of the Delegate of Campania Pierluigi Sanfelice, offered  to the Oblate Sisters of the Institute “Mater Orphanorum” of Cercemaggiore, in the province of Campobasso, 400 T-shirts and shorts, 10 balloons, 60 items of clothing for men and women, as well as accessories of various colours. They were also present  Michele and Dafne D’Amico, Sister Silvia,  Mother Superior, who  thanked, along with Sister Marisa, the Order for the laudable initiative aimed to  answer to the constant needs of the Institute  “Mater Orphanorum” in Guatemala and Africa.

Capua, 6 August 2015. At the Church of Santa  Caterine in Capua, the Delegate Marquis Pierluigi Sanfleice di Bagnoli offered to  the Reverend Don Giovanni Branco a quite big  amount of clothing to distribute to the needy people of the parish;  in particular, about 900 T-shirts and shorts for  child, woman and man; 130 pairs of  gym shoes of various colours; 260 t-shirts of various sizes and colours; 150 pairs of jeans for men. Among the participants there were  Don Lucio D’Abbraccio and Petraroia Alfredo, who oversaw the transport of manufactured goods from Cercemaggiore  to  Capua. There  were also the representatives of the local Caritas. Lataer in Caivano in the village of  Pascarola, the Delegate of Campania met the Reverend Don Salvatore Varavallo, parish priest of the Church of San Giorgio Martire, in representation of the  Caritas, and he offered him about 400 T-shirts and shorts; 130 t-shirts for women, 60 pairs of gym shoes of different sizes; 60 pairs of men’s jeans; 50 leather tballs to play football. Finally he met, in Naples, in the Church of Saint Lucia a Mare, Father Joseph Carmelo, who received 400 of shirts and shorts; 60 pairs of shoes in various colors; 130 t-shirts and 60 pairs of men’s jeans.

Capua, 21 July 2015. At the farm Giò Sole, at the request of the Delegate Marchese Pierluigi Sanfelice di Bagnoli, the Representatives of Capua and Teano managed to make converge in Capua a good number of Knights, who were kindly welcomed by  the Knight of Justice Baron Alessandro Pasca di Magliano. Marquis Sanfelice, explaining the new structure of the Order and the creation of the Foundation of the Order of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St. George, has invited to a more active  participation, for the future, to the activities of the Order in the district of Caserta. He  proposed the possibility of giving life  in Caserta to charity activities such as those that take place in Naples, including: a health center,  new assistance centers, thanks to the National Corps of Assistance of the Order.

Persano, 16 July 2015. The Delegate for Campania, Pierluigi Sanfelice, at the request of the military chaplain Don Claudio Mancusi and at the invitation of the Commanders of the Military Bodies of Persano, Colonel Augusto Gravante, Commander of the 4th Tank Regiment, Colonel Carmine Ferrante,  Commander of the Logistic Regiment Garibaldi, Colonel Fausto Ciriaco Troisi, Commander of the District of Persano and Colonel Lucio di Blasio, Commander of the 8th  earth Artillery Regiment , has gone to  visit the Royal site of Persano. This historic site is also linked to the zootechnics tradition  of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, as well Carditello, in fact in Persano there was a remarkable development of horse breeding that were then sold on the domestic and international markets; it was also  a place of hunting particularly loved by the sovereigns of the Bourbon Family. The reason of  this meeting is also linked to the charitable activities that the Constantinian Order, in agreement with the military command, has in mind to achieve in the near future in Italy and abroad.

Nola, 10 July 2015. The Delegate of Campania Pierluigi Sanfelice, accompanied by the Knights Maurizio Barbato and Giuseppe  D’Amico, visited the Guardia di Finanza of Nola, in the context of a close partnership developed to help the poorest. The Guardia di Finanza has, on other occasions, offered to the Delegation of Campania different type  of clothing,suc as  shirts, dresses, pants, shoes, as well as a Camper for the Logistics of the  Emergency. The Guardia di Finanza of Nola deals with the detailed control of the territory of 14 districts with a very high criminal  density. Marquis Sanfelice also met the staff who took part in the operations that led to the seizure of the garments offered  to our Delegation: 1,000 pairs of sports shoes.
