San Gottardo, Monday, 1 August, 2016 – The first meeting of Representatives for the Province of Lombardy took place in the Parish of San Gottardo in Brescia. Present was the Grand Inquisitor, H.E. Dott. Alberto Lembo, who introduced the agenda and instructed all on the historical and current reality of the Constantinian Order, providing the Provincial Representatives with interesting news and instructions on how to properly conduct their functions. Also present were Vice Delegate Nobile Dott. Giuseppe Rizzani, the Prior for the Delegations representing Brescia and Mantova Mons. Arnaldo Morandi, Representative for the city of Bergamo Dott.ssa Veronica Grillo, Representative for the city of Lecco Dott. Luigi Rogliano, Representative for the city of Lodi Dott. Maurizio Pappalardo, Representative for Monza and Brianza, Ing. Giuseppe Perego, Representative for the city of Pavia Comm. Vittorio Barella, Representative for the city of Sondrio Nobile Avv. Francesco Alessi Longa, representative or the city of Varese Mr. Giovanni Mattei. The representative for the city of Cremona, Mrs. Daniela Triboldi Rossi, was absent with justification. The day progressed in a climate of cordiality and cooperation and all expressed the desire to serve the Constantinian Order in the best manner possible, in accordance with the provisions and demeanor that must continue to characterize the members and the activities of the Order. The Grand Inquisitor actively participated in the discussions, encouraging the clarification of several complex passages. He stated that he was certain all would work serenely and profitably and wished all the best of luck saying that he would also be available. The meeting adjourned following prayers and benediction.

June – The Delegation for Milan and Lombardy sponsors the project “The Hunger of our Neighbour” so strongly supported by Grand Master, H.R.H. Prince Charles of Bourbon – Two Sicilies, a program that concerns not only nourishment aspects, but all the needs in the life of each one of us. For this reason the Delegation was involved in a release from seizure operation carried out by the Guardia di Finanza, conducted by Major Marco Salvagno, Commander of the Green Berets Ready Response Force of Torino. The commitment and involvement of Knights Luigi Rogliano and Gaetano Ruocco was decisive in this undertaking. After personally drafting the report and organising the transportation they were assisted by Prior Monsignor Arnaldo Morandi in delivering at least 5,000 articles of clothing to the offices of Brescia, Bergamo and Como. Representatives of these provinces then contacted local social services to distribute the material to the needy of their respective areas of competence.

In the historic hall of the Popes of the Diocesan Center “Paolo VI”, a meeting of the Delegation of Brescia and Bergamo has been held to define the commitments and to plan the next charitable activities on the territory.

The event was organized by Msgr. Arnaldo Morandi, Representative for Brescia and Bergamo, Prior of the Delegation of Milan and Lombardy, as well as General Secretary of the Office of the Grand Prior. The Grand Treasurer, His Excellency Don Gian Carlo Rocco di Torre Padula, Delegate of Lombardy, Don Andrea Imperiali dei Principi di Francavilla, Vice Delegate, Sergio Antonuzzi, and the Representative for Como, Giuseppe Rizzani, took part in the meeting.

After a brief presentation and introduction of the new dignitaries, Msgr. Arnaldo Morandi distribuited a copy of the Handbook “For a spiritual journey of the Constantinian Knights and Dames“.

The event was attended by numerous Knights and Dames, family members and friends of the Order in a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere, aimed to reach the possibility of listening to the words of these authorities, and to note the perfect harmony with the instructions of the Grand Master.

Brescia, 26th May 2016. During the Solemnity of Corpus Domini, a delegation of Knights and Dames of Bergamo and Brescia, attended the Procession. The delegation has been presided by Countess Marina Scardi Coppola de Almanza, Dame of Grace, and Msgr. Mario Piccinelli, Ecclesiastical Knight of Grace, Rector of the Diocesan Marian Sanctuary and Vice Postulator of the Cause of Canonization of the Blessed Pope Paul VI.

Pavia, 29^th April 2016.  The Jubilee of Mercy reminds us of the works of corporal mercy, “I was naked and you have clothed me”.  For this reason, the Representation of Pavia wishes to highlight the value and reality of this requirement on the part of the most needy by donating to them 1500 clothing items. The Knights and Dames of the Representation, led by Count Alessandro di Carpegna Brivio, Delegate for Milan and Lombardy, have donated this large quantity of clothing items (shirts, trousers and coats) jointly with H.E. the Prefetto of Pavia, Dr. Erminia Rosa Cesari, their Graces the Bishop of Pavia, Msgr. Corrado Sanguinetti and the Bishop of Tortona, Msgr. Vittorio Viola.  These clothing items will then be distributed to the needy families of the Diocese through the Association “Armadio del Fratello” and the “Diocesan Caritas”.  The donation events were attended, in addition to the Prefetto, by the institutional representatives of the national Police Force and the various voluntary associations of the Provinces of Pavia and Alessandria.

Pavia, 26^th February 2016. The Knight of Merit Massimo Ferrari, managing director of PHARMADAY SRL , pharmaceutical company donated 1.100 pharmaceutical products to the Delegation for Milan and Lombardy in the person of the Delegate, Count Alessandro di Carpegna Brivio and the Representative, Cesare Talpini. The products were dedicated to the “Personal Care Services” of Pavia made up of four institutions which offer geriatric rehabilitation, geriatric hospitalization, health care for disabled persons, as well as health, educational, physiotherapeutic, pharmaceutical and endocrine-nutritional services.  These centres of excellence accommodate 650 in-patients.

Milan, 15^th December 2015.  A ceremony of investiture of Knights and Dames of Lombardy took place at 6.30 p.m. in the Church of Santa Maria della Consolazione al Castello (founded in 1500 by Galeazzo Maria Sforza) in the presence of H.E. Don Augusto Ruffo di Calabria of the Princes of Scilla, Grand Prefect, Prince Fabrizio Colonna di Palian, Grand Inquisitor and Count Alessandro di Carpegna Brivio, Delegate of Milan and Lombardy. The Eucharistic Liturgy was presided by the Most Reverend Monsignor Arnaldo Morandi.

Pavia, 11^th December 2015.  500 items of clothing made up of sweaters, shirts, trousers and scarves for the most needy of the city were donated to the Diocesan Body “Armadio del Fratello” at the seat of the Pavia Prefecture.  This donation was presented by H.E. the Prefect of Pavia, Dr. Erminia Rosa Cesari, Dame of our Order and the Delegate of Milan and Lombardy, Count Alessandro di Carpegna Brivio. The donation ceremony was attended by the heads of volunteer organizations of the province and by high dignitaries of institutions.

Pavia – 26 October 2015. The Delegation of Pavia is to launch an important charitable initiative which aims to provide needy individuals with free meals at “The Young People’s House”, a site run by the Diocese of Pavia. The facility is known to tend to the needs of young people from socially-deprived backgrounds and is committed to the delivery of humanitarian assistance to marginalised senior citizens, vagrants and families experiencing financial hardships through their management of the “The Brother’s Canteen. This project, which was launched in January 2015, has so far delivered over 1,000 freshly-made meal trays at the local branch of the Italian Red Cross. This new charity event was made possible by the generous and unfailing support of Pharmaday Srl (pharmaceutical company and distributor of wholesale items). The charitable campaign is concerned to supply 5,500 ready-to-eat pre-portioned packaged meals, suitable for elderly people whose dietary requirements include a diet rich in nutrients. A further donation of 4,000 over-the-counter medicines is to be made by leading multinational Recktt Benckiser. The initiative has the full support of the Diocesan Caritas, the Banco Alimentare, the Italian Red Cross and the Dioceses offering canteen services to the needy. The Grand Prefect Augusto Ruffo di Calabria dei Principi di Scilla, H.I.H. The Archduke Martin of Austria-Este, the Delegate for Milan and Lombardy Count di Carpegna Brivio are scheduled to attend the event, along with the highest-ranking members of the Army, leading political figures operating at provincial and municipal level, not excepting HE the Prefect.

Pavia,  July 2015. The Representation of Pavia, through a joint action of  Knights,  Dames and five worthy friends (4 non-commissioned officers of the Guardia di Finanza and tone non commissioned officer of Carabinieri) has offered, in the area,  social assistance in favor of the VISPE Onlus Association (http://www.vispe.it/) to gather food and medicines to be sent to the MUTOYI Hospital in Burundi ,on behalf of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St. George.

They were collected: 14,000 various pharmaceuticals and 1 ton of white rice.
