On December 15th, a donation of fruit and vegetables took place at the St. Maria Nascente Church in Brescia, in the presence of the parish priest Father Osvaldo Resconi. The donation was delivered by Mr. Daniele Gavezzoli to be destined for the elderly and needy people of the district.
Pavia, December 9th 2018- Some Knights of the delegation took part in the solemn pontifical officiated by H.E. Bishop Corrado Sanguineti at the cathedral for the feast of Saint Siro, patron of the city.
December 7th, 2018 – Mr. Daniele Gavezzoli and Mr. Giuseppe Scolaro, thanks to Msgr. Arnaldo Morandi’s help, delivered fresh fruits and vegetables to Father Giuliano Baronio, parish priest of Iseo Pieve di San Andrea in order to cover the needs of 75 needy families assisted by the local caritas.
Bergamo, November 27th 2018. Today Mrs.Veronica Grillo, representative for Bergamo, thanks to Fabio Conti and Ivan Scelsa’s active collaboration, gave Mr. Francesco Di Quattro a substantial supply of bottles of mineral water, generously offered from the local company Fonte Stella Alpina.
November 10th 2018. An investiture ceremony of 30 new Knights and Dames and 10 promotions took place at the Basilica of Montichiari (Brescia).The ceremony was presided over by Cardinal Renato Raffaele Martino , our Grand Prior and many Knights and Dames from all over the region attended. The mantle and the Constantinian diploma were delivered by the Vice Delegate of Lombardy Mr. Giuseppe Rizzani and the Prior of Lombardy Mons. Arnaldo Morandi. The Vice Delegate for Emilia Romagna, all the Provincial Representatives of Lombardy and numerous civil and military religious authorities attended as well. After the ceremony, at the beginning of dinner which was sponsored by the Grand Prior, the Vice Delegate of Lombardy and Prior Mons. Arnaldo Morandi delivered to Mr. Paolo Musatti a crest of the Constantinian Order.On November 11st, HE Cardinal Renato Raffaele Martino went to the Brescian parish of San Gottardo to celebrate the holy mass and to celebrate Mons. Arnaldo Morandi’s twenty-fifth anniversary of parish.
November 5th, 2018. Mrs. Maria Clara Bollini, Msgr. Paolo Bonato, Mr. Vincenzo Bonifacio and Mr. Nicola Impagnatiello, have carried out a fourth charitable intervention at the institute of the Sisters of Santa Maria Maddalena in Vigevano. On this occasion foodstuffs were delivered to the canteen managed by the Sisters in the context of their mission of assistance and reception of lonely people and families in need.
Brescia, October 10th 2018. Today Mr. Daniele Gavezzoli, promoter of this initiative, together with Msgr. Arnaldo Morandi, Prior of Lombardy and Mr. Maurizio Mirandola, Secretary of the Representation, has delivered more than 5,000 bottles of still and sparkling water at the premises of the Local Committee C.R.I. of Brescia. The products were generously offered by the company Acque Maniva spa.
Msgr. Arnaldo Morandi also wanted to pay tribute to the President of the Provincial Committee, Mrs. Carolina David, giving her a Crest of the Constantinian Order.
Brescia, September, 19th 2018. The Prior of Lombardy, Msgr. Arnaldo Morandi and the Secretary of the Delegation, Mr. Maurizio Mirandola, accompanied by a group of Knights, met Mrs. Francesca Paola Lucrezi, director of the prison in Bresia and Mrs. Letizia Tognali, Commander of the Penitentiary Police, after providing sheets, pillowcases and new garments. During the meeting, the Director thanked the Constantinian Order for its help.
Milan, September 14th 2018. His Eminence Msgr. Francesco Brugnaro, Archbishop of Camerino-San Severino, before the celebration, during a private ceremony, received his diploma as Knight Grand Cross of Ecclesiastical Grace by the Vice Delegate, Mr. Giuseppe Rizzani, in the presence of Mr. Gabriele Albertini, new representative for Milan and Msgr. Arnaldo Morandi, General Secretary of the office of the Grand Prior. Then the Archbishop presided over the Eucharistic celebration that was concelebrated by Msgr. Arnaldo Morandi, Father Luca Camisana and Msgr. Brugnaro. After the ceremony, a dinner was held at the Sant’Eustorgio restaurant where several charitable initiatives were promoted.
As promised last year by the Vice Delegate, Mr. Giuseppe Rizzani to the Bishop of Piacenza, Msgr. Gianni Ambrosio, the restoration of the painting of St. George was offered to the Bishop. At the ceremony there were civil and religious authorities and a delegation of Knights of the Order.
The Vice Delegate met tOn. Gabriele Albertini in Milan at the Società del Giardino, giving him the letter of designation as representative of the city of Milan.
Concesio (BS) September, 5th 2018 – Mr. Francesco Spada and Mr. Daniele Gavezzoli, in the presence of Msgr. Fabio Peli, delivered numerous foodstuffs and some garments for eighty families who are assisted by the local Caritas.
