During the month of May the most representative project of the Sicily Delegation added the city of Agrigento to the already long list of dioceses they assist.

On May 22, the Vice Delegate, Dott. Antonio Janni, and Cav. Dott. Alfonso Lo Zito brought products for infants to the Caritas of the Archdiocese of Agrigento. As agreed with the Diocese Cav. Lo Zito will provide items for the children of the area on a monthly basis.

On the following day Dott. di Janni brought to the volunteers of the soup kitchen of San Mamiliano  their weekly supply of fish (over 50 kilos) for the users of the facility.

Wednesday, May 31, the second monthly distribution of “Crumbs of Health” was held in Monreale, thanks to the involvement of Cav. Salvatore Vassallo and volunteers Antonella Giotti, Rosalia Ciolino and Daniela Prestigiacomo, who distributed products for children to approximately 25 families.

Friday, April 21. The Knights and Dames of the Lombardy Delegation attended holy mass in honor of St. George the Martyr, patron saint of the Constantinian Order. The mass was celebrated in the illustrious church of San Giorgio al Palazzo in Milan.

This year the celebration was held on April 21st rather than actual day of the Liturgical Memory, April 23^rd, as this year the 23^rd was a Sunday and the Feast of the Divine Mercy would have taken precedence.

The mass was celebrated by the Prior of Lombardy and Secretary General of the Office of the Grand Prior, Mons. Arnaldo Morandi, concelebrated by the deputy secretary of the Office of the Grand Prior Mons. Pierantonio Bodini,  the Chaplain of the Monza Brianza Delegation, Don Michele Somaschini and Don Andrea Dotti,  Rector of the episcopal college of St. George in Brescia.  Present for the ceremony were H.E. the Grand Inquisitor, Nob. Dott. Alberto Lembo, H.E. the Grand Treasurer, Don Giancarlo of the Princes Rocco di Torrepadula, the Vice Delegate for Lombardy, Nob. Dott. Giuseppe Rizzani, the Delegate for the Triveneto region, Count Roberto Giustiniani, as well as numerous representatives of Lombardy and many illustrious Knights and Dames from other Delegations.

Lombardy, April 2017 – During the month of April the Lombardy Delegation diversified its activities, alternating cultural events with religious ones by  providing assistance to the needy.

On March 28, the Knights and Dames of the Brescia and Mantova Delegation delivered over 330 kg of pasta, donated by the Pagani Company, to Mons. Antonio Bodini, representative for the Brescia East zone of the Brescia Caritas.

Saturday, April 1, the Representative for Varese, Cav. Giovanni Mattei, accompanied by two applicants for membership in the Order, delivered a sizeable quantity of articles of clothing to be distributed to the needy of the city and the province to the representative of the Diocesan Caritas of Varese, Don Marco Casale,

On April 2, on the occasion of the Feast of St. Francis of Paola, co-patron of the Constantinian Order, a Holy Mass was celebrated in the Brescia parish of St. Francis by the chaplain Mons. Ivo Panteghini, delegated by the bishop. The mass was attended by a large group of Knights and Dames.

Thanks to the work of the Knights and Dames of the Brescia-Cremona and Mantova Representation the Lombardy Delegation provided the Diocesan Caritas of Brescia, in response to a specific request, with 30 packages containing 1500 items of  undergarments for men, women and children to be distributed in prison facilities and shelters.

The donation was made possible thanks to the generosity of the Cotonella Company.

Brescia, 15 February 2017 – Feast in honor of the Holy Martyrs Faustino and Giovita. Several Constantinian Knights and Dames were present in an official capacity for the Pontifical Mass celebrated by the Bishop in the Basilica dedicated to the patron saints of the city of Brescia.

The Constantinian Order is formally invited to all public ceremonies of the Diocese
His Eminence the Most Reverend Cardinal Renato Raffaele Martino, Grand Prior of the Order, encouraged works of charity carried out in cooperation with Caritas and with Diocesan facilities.

Friday, 27 January 2017 – At the invitation of the Delegate and Prior of the Dynastic Orders of the House of Savoy, Don Maurizio Ceriani, the Delegation for Milano and Lombardy attended Holy Mass in honor of the Blessed Cristina of Savoy who married Ferdinand II of the Two Sicilies in 1832, becoming the queen consort of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies.
Representing the Constantinian Order at the ceremony were: H.E. Nobile Dott. Alberto Lembo, Grand Inquisitor, Vicar Delegate Nob. Dott. Giuseppe Rizzani and Ecclesiastical Knight of Grace Don Simone Rolandi, representing the Prior, in addition to many faithful and devoted Constantinian and Mauritian Knights and Dames.

L’Ordine Costantiniano ha come fine la difesa della Santissima Croce attraverso le opere di Carità, a questo proposito la Rappresentanza di Brescia ha raggiunto un nuovo protocollo di collaborazione anche con la Caritas Diocesana, in accordo col Vescovo di Brescia Mons Luciano Monari e con il Direttore Diacono Giorgio Cotelli.

Questa iniziativa rientra nelle indicazioni di Sua Eminenza il Cardinale Martino, Gran Priore, che ha più volte ribadito l’importanza e la necessità di stringere accordi di collaborazione con le realtà caritative diocesane.

Per il Santo Natale, in accordo col Direttore della Caritas, la Delegazione lombarda ha offerto e servito il pranzo del primo giorno dell’anno nuovo 2017 a circa 300 ospiti della mensa diocesana Madre Eugenia Menni: una rappresentanza di Cavalieri e Dame della Delegazione hanno collaborato con gli operatori della Caritas ad allestire i tavoli ed accogliere gli ospiti, per poi servire loro i pasti.

La Rappresentanza di Brescia è molto attiva sul territorio, e sono numerose le realtà con cui collabora, tra cui:
• Il Dormitorio San Vincenzo
• La Associazione TSV servizio volontario di radiologia medica a domicilio
• La Caritas Diocesana
• Caritas zonale Brescia Est

Bergamo – 24 August 2016. Dott.ssa Veronica Grillo, Representative for Bergamo, in cooperation with her Delegate, donated to the local Committee of the Italian Red Cross one thousand pieces of clothing to be distributed to the refugee families under the tutelage of the Committee.
Prior to the donation all labels were removed from the clothing and then repacked. This activity also is part of the important operation of release from seizure organized by Major Marco Salvagno, Commander of the Green Berets On-Call force of Torino, with the assistance of the Representatives for Lecco, Dott. Rogliano and Cav. Gaetano Ruocco.
Several days later, thanks to the cooperation of the Representatives for Varese, Cav. Giovanni Mattei and Dott. Valerio Palamini, the Representative for Bergamo retrieved twelve hospital beds from the RSA Foundation of Albino. These were donated to the Queen of Peace Association of Pescate (LC) and will subsequently be transferred to meet the needs of pilgrims to Medjougorie

Como, Friday, 5 August 2016 – The Vice Delegate for Milano and Lombardy, Nobile Dott. Giuseppe Rizzani, Knight Commander of Grace of the Constantinian Order, spoke of their cooperation with the Diocesan Caritas of the Valle Intelvi Zone -Lake and Home of the Annunciation – Somascan Fathers of the Crucifix of Como, for the distribution of 1,000 articles of clothing to the needy.
This activity also was part of the Guardia di Finanza operations releasing confiscated assets. Under the leadership of the Prior, Msgr. Arnaldo Morandi, the Knights of the delegation transported the material to the various locations of the Lombardy Delegation,
The operation is just one of the activities of the program “The Hunger of our Neighbor”, strongly supported by the Grand Master, H.R.H. Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro.
