Epiphany Day-the delegation of Sicily hands out a lot of presents to children
Palermo 6th January 2015. On 6th January, Epiphany, the Delegation of Sicily, organized the distribution of presents to children (toys and stockings filled with sweets)
The first distribution occurred at 12a.m. at the church of S .Nicola da Tolentino in Via Maqueda, where about 50 children received the packet from Ms Giovanna Galli who has played the part of Befana for years. The constantinian knights attended the event too and welcomed the children.
In the afternoon at 5p.m. at the church of S. Francesco da Paola a second distribution for 150 children occurred with the cooperation of the constantinian Padri Minimi and the Onlus association “Croce Bianca” with its chairman Pietro Spezia. Padri Minimi are constantinian chaplains and they are:Father Saverio Cento, Father Giorgio Terrasi and father Antonio Porretta.

Epiphany Lunch with the frail elderly from S.Maria, Giulia and Francesco Parish in Livorno
Tuscany-6th January 2015. On last 6th January, Epiphany Day, Tuscany Delegation organized a lunch for the elderly from Centro della Madonna. A different day spent in cheerfulness and serenity that filled their heart and made them smile.

VISIT OF T.R.H. THE PRINCE CHARLES AND THE PRINCESS CAMILLA OF BOURBON, THE DUKE AND DUCHESS OF CASTRO IN LONDON
London – October 2014. The Grand Master of the Constantinian Order, H.R.H. Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro, with his wife H.R.H. Princess Camilla of Bourbon, Duchess of Castro, on the occasion of Their visit to London held from the 6th to the 10th October 2014, participated in various charity events in support of the “homeless”.The Delegate of Great Britain and Ireland, H.E. Mr. Anthony Bailey, showed to H.R.H the Homeless World Reception Day held on the 9th of October 2014 in the Cholmondeley hall in the House of Lord.
The event, presented by Field Marshal The Rt Hon Lord Guthrie of Craigiebank, Constantinian Order’s Deputy Managing Director for Scotland, was organized in co-operation with Caritas Anchor House which assists disadvantaged and needy people.
During the evening of the 10th October 2014, H.R.H the Duke and Duchess of Castro and the Knights and Dames of the Order and other illustrious guests participated to the Charity Concert “A Night Under the Stars” at the Royal Festival Hall in London. A concert in favor of the association “The Passage” that takes care of the homeless.
H.R.H the Duke and Duchess of Castro accompanied to the Royal Box, from H.R.H. Prince Raja Rezza Shah of Malaysia and H.R.H. Princess Marie – Therese von Hohenberg, were welcomed by the President of the foundation Sister Ellen Flynn and Chief Executive Officer, Michael Clarke.

Charity lunch for 70 poor people at St. Michele’s parish
Tuscany- 5th January 2015. On last 5th January, on the occasion of Christmas a charity lunch for poor people and in need was organized by the Tuscany delegation. From now on, once a month these families will receive a food parcel.
Among the promoters there are the Knights of merit of the Order, Mr Calcabrina, Mr Mascelli, Mr Iuso, Mr Coratella with parson Don Manuel and Don Pes and the parish community of St.Michele.

December 8th 2014 Special Day for needy brothers in the city of Rome
Rome – Monday 8th December 2014. The Delegation of Rome of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St. George, on the occasion of the solemn day of the Immaculate Conception, will organize a special day for citizens in need.
In this occasion, the delegation, will offer a lunch to 500 city inhabitants in need at the Oblate Sisters of the Sacra Famiglia in Via Carrara 1\3.
H.S.H. Prince Manfred Windisch-Graetz, who has recently assumed the position of Delegate for Roma and Lazio, will attend the charity lunch to “stay close” to the needy of the City. He will be welcomed by the Delegate of Rome, Marquis Giorgio Mirti della Valle and by other Councillors of the Delegation.
This initiative is only a part of the overall humanitarian project that the Order wants to pursue coordinating all its strength through the action of all delegations, in Italy and all over the world, and directing them towards the realization of this project, entitled “the hunger of our neighbor”.
Our “neighbor” is to be intended in the evangelical sense of the term: a person in need living near us and, very often, no one notices him.
To the Constantinian Knights is required indeed to contribute to the primary needs of these persons, accordint to the Christian spirit which every Knight must be inspired by.

VISIT TO NAPLES
(Naples). A great return to Naples on Friday the 21st and Saturday the 22nd of November for HRH the Prince Charles of Bourbon of the Two Sicilies Duke of Castro, Grand Master of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St George’s.
Two days full of cultural and humanitarian activities for HRH the Prince Charles of Bourbon of the Two Sicilies and the Costantinian Order.
To welcome him went the Delegate of Naples and the Region Campania for the Order: Don Pierluigi Sanfelice di Bagnoli.
At 6 pm on Friday the 21st of November, the Prince made his way to the Chiesa di Santa Chiara to honor King Francesco II grave. This year will recur the 120th anniversary from his death, occurred in Arco, in Tyrol, on the 27th of December 1894.
On Saturday the 22nd of November, at 11 – His Royal Height met the Colonel Valentino Scotillo, Captain of the Military School “Nunziatella”, which has always been close to the heart of the Royal Bourbon House.
At 11.30 the Prince Charles attended Mass at the Chiesa di San Ferdinando of Palazzo, celebrated with Special Rite by the Rector of the Church – the Grande Reverendo Monsignor Pasquale Silvestri.
His Eminence Cardinal Renato Raffaele Martino, Gran Prior of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St George, took part to the function too.
The humanitarian appointment that saw involved HRH the Prince and Grand Master, together with the Gran Prior Martino and the Delegate Sanfelice took place at the Mensa Caritatevole of the Chiesa di Santa Lucia a Mare.
They visited the premises and they met the poor and people in need that participated to the breakfast organized for them by the Delegation of Naples and Campania. -
Visit to Palermo
(Palermo). Thursday, November the 20th, at 5 pm at the General Hospital of Palermo, the Sicily Delegation of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St George’s – the oldest knights’ order – organized a remarkable event. Once again they play a central role in social initiatives for the wider society and the deprived.
At the presence of HRH the Prince of Bourbon of two Sicilies and the HRM The Princess Maria Carolina di Borbone the Hospital received the Neonatal intensive care Unit. This is a 140 cm lamp on a perch with 6 blue leds and 4 white leds for the newborn visualization, able to grant a radiometric radiation power of 70 cm.
The device is able to convey the therapeutic light between 425 and 475 mm in a directive cone without creating any inconvenient to the surrounding patients or the medical staff.
All the staff responsible of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and the Director of the General Hospital attended this ceremony as well as the Doctor Sebastiano Bonventre, Chief Surgeon, Knight of the Costantinian order and Major of the city of Alcamo (TP). -
