  • DISTRIBUTION OF CLOTHING AND ACCESSORIES

    Capua, 6 August 2015. At the Church of Santa  Caterine in Capua, the Delegate Marquis Pierluigi Sanfleice di Bagnoli offered to  the Reverend Don Giovanni Branco a quite big  amount of clothing to distribute to the needy people of the parish;  in particular, about 900 T-shirts and shorts for  child, woman and man; 130 pairs of  gym shoes of various colours; 260 t-shirts of various sizes and colours; 150 pairs of jeans for men. Among the participants there were  Don Lucio D’Abbraccio and Petraroia Alfredo, who oversaw the transport of manufactured goods from Cercemaggiore  to  Capua. There  were also the representatives of the local Caritas. Lataer in Caivano in the village of  Pascarola, the Delegate of Campania met the Reverend Don Salvatore Varavallo, parish priest of the Church of San Giorgio Martire, in representation of the  Caritas, and he offered him about 400 T-shirts and shorts; 130 t-shirts for women, 60 pairs of gym shoes of different sizes; 60 pairs of men’s jeans; 50 leather tballs to play football. Finally he met, in Naples, in the Church of Saint Lucia a Mare, Father Joseph Carmelo, who received 400 of shirts and shorts; 60 pairs of shoes in various colors; 130 t-shirts and 60 pairs of men’s jeans.

  • Pilgrimage to Assisi on the 18, 19 and 20 September 2015

    Dear Knights and Dames, in response to numerous questions about the pilgrimage we want to inform you that it is still possible to take part to the International Pilgrimage organized by  the Grand Magistry from the 18 to the  20 September to  Assisi, to visit  St. Francis’tomb.

     

    It’s for this reason  that we invite all those interested to participate, to communicate their subscription, as soon as possible, to the Chancellor office.

     

    The participation to  the Pilgrimage is  reserved to the members of the Order, their families or any friends to the Benefactors whose  subscription has to be  sponsored by a Knight or a Dame.

  • NEW CRUMBS OF HEALTH AT MONREALE

    Monreale, July 29, 2015. It was held at the headquarters of the Sacred Military  Constantinian Order of St George in Monreale, the second distribution of products for the  early childhood. 60 families have received diapers, 132 liters of milk, biscuits, 60 kg of sugar, tomato sauce, homogenized, 60 kg of pasta for children. The products distributed were provided by  constantinian volunteers and by the knights under the leadership of the Prior of  Sicily H.E. the very reverend Monsignor  Michele Pennisi, Archbishop of Monreale. At the distribution  many volunteers of the delegation have given their help according to the project “New crumbs of  health” led by Dr. Lia Giangreco.

  • SECOND DELIVERY OF GOODS, CLOTHING AND MEDICINES IN FAVOUR OF THE POPULATION OF NEPAL

    Rome, 29 July 2015. The Vicar Delegate of Rome  of the Constantinian Order, Marquis lawyer Giorgio MIRTI della VALLE, instructed the Chancellor of the Delegation, Dr. Fabrizio Nobile RATTO-VAQUER, to organize a second delivery of goods (15 packages containing T-shirts, shirts, golf for a total of about 500 items of clothing, in addition to material for children) to be sent, via the Italian Red Cross, to the earthquake victims in Nepal. Coordination and identification of the donations overall has been realized thanks to the collaboration of the brothers,  knight Dr. Vincenzo Gaglione and the Dama Dr. Antoinetta Capparella. The project Nepal  of the Vicar Delegation of Rome of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St George, consisted of two big offers in favor of the local hospital of the  Red Cross  and of the earthquake victims. This project is only a part of a wider project “The hunger of our neighbour” strongly supported by the Grand Master of the Order H.R.H. Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro, in addition to the ongoing food support and health care to the needy of the parish of S. Giuseppe al Trionfale in Rome and other initiatives in favor of the homeless of the City.

Francesco and Giulia ,  food  and clothing according to the project wanted by our Grand Master H.R.H. Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies Duke of Castro “The hunger of our neighbour.”

  • NEW CRUMBS OF HEALTH

    Messina, 26 July 2015. It was concluded at the parish of Santa Caterina Vergine  e Martire in Messina the summer program according to the project “New crumbs Health”, launched in favor of families who live in conditions of economic and social hardship. The initiative was carried out in collaboration with  Caritas. The distribution of basic necessities, in fact, was carried out on behalf of several families with whom the Order and the  Caritas wanted to share moments of prayer and human solidarity, in the presence of the Comm. Prof. Giovanni  Bonanno, Commander of Merit and Coordinator for Messina and its Province of the Order. The parish priest Monsignor . Mario Di Pietro, Vicar Forane for center Messina  and Chaplain of the Order along with Vice President of Caritas and our Brother Dr. Renato Milazzo  hosted the charity event with renewed enthusiasm,. The project will be resumed in September.

  • FEAST ‘OF St.ANNA

    Trapani, July 26, 2015. Monsignor Michele Crociata , Constantinian Chaplain, celebrated a Mass, in the courtyard of the Castle of Balata di Baida, on the Feast of St. Anne. The Vicar Delegate of Sicily, Dr. Noble. Antonio Janni, Knight Grand Cross of Grace, a large representation of Knights and Ladies from across the region, the  Constantinian brother,  General of the Guardia di Finanza Guido Geremia, Commander of the region Lombardia attended the ceremony. After the liturgy, the Vicar Delegate wanted to remember  the visit at the Castle in 1801 of  H.M.  King Ferdinand III.

  • MONREALE ‘HUMANITARIAN ACTIVITIES IN FAVOUR OF THE IMMIGRANTS

    Monreale, 23 July 2015. H.R.E. Monsignor . Michele Pennisi, Prior of Sicily, newly promoted  Knight Grand Cross of Ecclesiastical Grace, used the charity to welcome , at the Caritas headquarters , about 40 immigrants, including some infants, in agreement with the Prefecture of Palermo, and without any charge.

    The Archbishop asked the  Constantinian Delegation of  Sicily to take care of the immigrants’health.

    Knights and Dames  of Sicily naturally have given their full willingness and our doctors immediately activated themselves  to help the needs of the guests.

    The charity  aim of the Constantinian Order can be fully realized thanks to the charitable solicitude of the priest of  Monreale who, as Prior of the Delegation, makes fully fruitful the  Constantinian ideal  of dedication to people in need. In their turn, Knights and Dames of Sicily they continue to  do their best acoording to the  words  left by the Cardinal and Grand Prior  Mario Francesco Pompedda: “be, before to appear.”

  • NEW PROPOSALS FOR CHARITY ACTIVITIES IN THE PROVINCE OF CASERTA

    Capua, 21 July 2015. At the farm Giò Sole, at the request of the Delegate Marchese Pierluigi Sanfelice di Bagnoli, the Representatives of Capua and Teano managed to make converge in Capua a good number of Knights, who were kindly welcomed by  the Knight of Justice Baron Alessandro Pasca di Magliano. Marquis Sanfelice, explaining the new structure of the Order and the creation of the Foundation of the Order of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St. George, has invited to a more active  participation, for the future, to the activities of the Order in the district of Caserta. He  proposed the possibility of giving life  in Caserta to charity activities such as those that take place in Naples, including: a health center,  new assistance centers, thanks to the National Corps of Assistance of the Order.
