    Naples, 24 April 2015. A fundraising evening for the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George took place at the Circolo della Staffa, with over two hundred and fifty guests attending.

    During the event, organised by the Delegation of Naples and Campania, the Delegate, Pierluigi Sanfelice di Bagnoli, delivered the sincere greetings of the Grand Master H.R.H Prince Charles of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro; of the Grand Prefect of the Order, Don Augusto Ruffo di Calabria of the Princes of Scilla; of the Grand Chancellor H.R.H Princess Beatrice of Bourbon-Two Sicilies; and the President of the Region of Campania, Hon. Stefano Caldoro.

    A heartfelt thanks was made to Patrizio Rispo who, thanks to his customary attention towards themes of the “last”, organised the very enjoyable musical entertainment by the San Carlo Ensemble. Members of the Delegation of Campania and numerous guests were present.

    A warm welcome was extended from all the Knights and Ladies of the Order as well as the guests present, to Randa Ghattas, representative for one of the most important and prestigious Lebanese families, who expressed her feelings and sense of gratitude for the mission completed by the Delegation in Lebanon last month and for the words of the Delegate, Pierluigi Sanfelice.

  • SOLEMNITY FOR SAINT GEORGE

    Enna, 23 April 2015. Throughout the local area, the delegation of Sicily has organised the Solemnities of Saint George, patron saint of the Order.

    In Enna, the Holy Mass took place in the church of San Bartolomeo and was officiated by the Constantinian Chaplain, Father Giacomo Zangara. The Knights Matteo Bertino, Salvatore Favata and Lady Margherita Scarpinata were present.

  • SOLEMNITY FOR SAINT GEORGE

    Messina, 23 April 2015. In the splendid setting of the Church dedicated to Saint Catherine, virgin and martyr of Messina, the priest, Monsignor Mario Di Pietro, Knight of Ecclesiastical Grace and Chaplain of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George, celebrated the Holy Mass in honour of Saint George, patron saint of the Order.

    The celebration, preceded by the significant ritual of investiture of Dr. Franz Riccobono to Knight of Merit, knighted in 2014, took place in the presence of Knights and Ladies of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George, as well as the delegate of Messina for the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, Professor Giuseppe Romeo, Constantinian Knight of Justice, and the Head of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, Clodomiro Tavani, lawyer, along with a substantial group of Knights and Ladies of the Jerusalem Order, Knight of Grace.

    The distinguished representatives demonstrated the particular importance that, in this context, is taken on by the solemnity of the Knight, Saint George, for the common protection and sharing of Christian values and chivalric principles. Civil and military authorities were also present.

    Subsequently, the “Crumbs of Health” initiative was presented, a project of solidarity launched by the Order to help the most disadvantaged social classes and that, in Messina, will take advantage of the partnership with the parish Caritas of “Saint Catherine virgin and martyr”.

    The initiative is part of the wider project, “The Hunger of our Neighbour” which the Order has launched with the aim of implementing solidarity where social need, deprivation, deviance, marginality and poverty are most felt.

  • SOLEMNITY FOR SAINT GEORGE

    Monreale, 23 April 2015. Solemnity for Saint George the Martyr, Patron Saint of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George. The delegation of Sicily celebrated Holy Mass at the Constantinian church of Maria SS degli Agonizzanti in Monreale, led by the church dean, Father Nicola Gaglio, Constantinian Chaplain. His Eminence the Very Reverend Monsignor Michele Pennisi, Archbishop of Monreale and Constantinian Prior for Sicily was present, accompanied by Father Giacomo Sgroi, Constaninian Chaplain. At the end of the Holy Mass, Lady Carla Amirante donated one of her own paintings of the Via Crucis. Also present were Knight Maurizio Di Giovine from Bologna, the Constantinian Chaplains Monsignor Gaetano Tulipano and Father Giuseppe Iozzia, Ladies Carla Amirante and Carmela Munda, Knights Antonio di Janni, His Eminence Gianfranco Romagnoli, Manlio Corselli, Vincenzo Nucco, Carmelo Sammarco, Salvatore Orobello, Umberto Mendola, Francesco Paolo Guarneri, Salvatore Notarianni, Baldo Cacioppo, Giuseppe Lipari, Giuseppe Grandinetti, Benedetto Salamone, Fabrizio Ippoliti, Rosario Tantillo, Gaetano Giarrusso, Dario Falzone, Giovanni Palozzolo and Claudio Ragusa.

  • INVESTITURE CEREMONY OF NEW KNIGHTS AND LADIES OF THE Delegation of Triveneto

    Lonigo, Vicenza – Friday 10 April 2015. At the Church of San Fermo in the Pavoniani complex at Villa San Fermo – “Giovanelli” di Lonigo, a solemn mass took place, with the “ritual of the investitures” of the new Knights and Ladies of the Delegation of Triveneto of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George, celebrated (with three concelebrants) by Ecclesiastical Knight Commander of Grace of Lombardy, Monsignor Arnaldo Morandi, by proxy for His Eminence, the Very Reverend Cardinal Renato Raffaele Martino, Grand Prior of the Order – Cardinal Protodeacon of the Holy Roman Church.

    Great Officers were present to solemnise the event: the Grand Prefect and the Grand Treasurer, alongside the Delegate of Triveneto, Paolo Bellieni with the Representatives: Alberto Lembo for the province of Verona, Silvano Dall’Amico for Vicenza, Lucio Pasqualetto for Treviso, Alberto Lonigo for Padova and Giorgio Miccoli, representative for the region of Friuli Venezia Giulia.

    In total, the following honours were given: twenty-two Knights and two Ladies, six Medals of Merit including one Gold Medal given to the Italian Delegation of the International Association Regina Elena ONLUS and five “silver” medals to Knights who are already members of the Order for the merits in humanitarian and charity work helping people in need.

    It was a very important, solemn and significant event, attended by the Mayor of Lonigo, Dr. Giuseppe Boschetto, Monsignor Vittorio Montagna, priest of the parish of the Holy Redeemer of Lonigo, as well as military authorities.

  • DELEGATION OF SICILY AND CARITAS FOR THOSE MOST IN NEED

    San Francesco di Paola, 9 April 2015. The delegation of Sicily of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George, as part of the project, “The Hunger of Our Neighbour”, is actively working with the Caritas of the parish of San Francesco di Paola to help those in need.

    The Minim Friars of San Francesco di Paola distribute food produce on a weekly basis, looking particularly to members of the parish to try to collect food produce for those in need.

  • STATIONS OF THE CROSS

    Messina, 30 March 2015 – it was held at the Church of Santa Caterina Vergine and Martire in Messina, the Stations of the Cross, presided by Monsignor Mario Di Pietro, knight of Ecclesiastical Grace.

    They have taken part to the event  professor Giovanni Bonanno, coordinator of the province of Messina, the knights  Franz Riccobono, Carmelo La Rosa, Francesco Stagno d’Alcontres and Giuseppe Matranga.

    I t was also present the brotherhood of Maria SS Annunzita dei Catalani, the Confraternity of S. Basilio degli Azzurri and the Holy Society dei Verdi who in the Arab period had the task of defending the SS Sacramento.

  • PALM SUNDAY WITH THE PARTICIPATION OF H.R.H. PRINCESS BEATRICE OF BOURBON TWO SICILIES

    San Francesco da Paola, Sunday, March 29, 2015. The Delegation of Naples and Campania of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St. George celebrated the Palm Sunday at the Royal and Pontifical Basilica of San Francesco da Paola in  Plebiscito squre.

    The Procession of the Constantinian Knights and Dames with cape and gloves, closed by the Grand Chancellor H.R.H. Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies, accompanied by the Delegate H.E.Marquis Pierluigi Sanfelice di Bagnoli,  started from the Basilica, crossed the Plebiscito square where, after reading the Gospel there was the Blessing of the olive’s Palms and branches.

    The Mass was celebrated by the Very Reverend Father Damiano M. La Rosa, of the Minimi and Prior of the Constantinian Delegation.

  • PALM SUNDAY

    Turin, Sunday, March 29, 2015. At the Church of the Suffragio, after the blessing of the olive branches, the  Constantinian Labarum led by knight Dott. Mario R. Baschirotto, followed by some Knights and Ammittendi, opened the procession of the  Palm Sunday, introducing the celebration of the Eucharist with the readings of the Passion of the Lord.

  • MORE THAN 2000 PHARMACEUTICAL DRUGS HAVE BEEN OFFERED TO THE PROVINCIAL COMMITTEE OF THE RED CROSS

    Alessandria and Asti, 25 March 2015 –  More than 2,000  packages of pharmaceutical drugs have been distributed.

    The Delegation  of Alessandria and Asti have offered to the Provincial Committee of the Red Cross more than 2,000 packages of drugs. Dames  and Knights of the Delegation will  deliver, along with the soldiers of the Red Cross, the packages to the care offices of the area.

    The project, which started on March 25 and will end in April, as announced in a press conference by the Representative, the knight Dott. Alessandro Medici: “an act of the heart toward the poor and the marginalized of the area and an opportunity to raise awareness in the territory of the charitable spirit that animates our illustrious Order.
