  • CALABRIA: EXALTATION OF THE CROSS

    On the occasion of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, some Knights and Dames of the Calabrian delegation, guided by the Vice Delegate, Mr. Aurelio Badolati, met at the Santa Maria della Candelora Church in Reggio Calabria. The celebration was presided over by the Prior of the Delegation H.E. Msgr. Vittorio Mondello, Archbishop Emeritus of Reggio Calabria-Bova, and concelebrated by Msgr. Luigi Cannizzo, Vice Prior. On this occasion, a merit medal was given to Mariangela Preta and to Mrs. Ludovica Labruna.

  • LOMBARDY: DONATION TO A PRISON IN BRESCIA

    Brescia, September, 19th 2018. The Prior of Lombardy, Msgr. Arnaldo Morandi and the Secretary of the Delegation, Mr. Maurizio Mirandola, accompanied by a group of Knights, met Mrs. Francesca Paola Lucrezi, director of the prison in Bresia and Mrs. Letizia Tognali, Commander of the Penitentiary Police, after providing sheets, pillowcases and new garments. During the meeting, the Director thanked the Constantinian Order for its help.

  • FRANCE: EXALTATION OF THE CROSS 2018

    Paris, September 14th 2018 – On the occasion of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross, the “Association Française des Oeuvres de l’Ordre Constantinien”, guided by the Councilor of State Camille Pascal, met at the Church of Saint-Roch in Paris.

    After an initial informative meeting attended by many Knights and Dames of the French Delegation, a Solemn Mass was celebrated, presided over by Abbot Thierry Laurent, Knight of Ecclesiastical Grace and concelebrated by Father Xavier de Prémesnil, in the presence of HRH Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Grand Prefect of the Order.

  • SOUTH EASTERN ASIAN DELEGATION: SECOND INVESTITURE CEREMONY

    CO Cross 150x150The second Ceremony of Investiture, presided by the Delegate, took place on August 18th in an historical private mansion in Bangkok and saw a prominent Thai tycoon and philanthropist and his youngest daughter warmly cheered by the closest family members as they have been created Motu Proprio by the Grand Master respectively Grand Cross and Dame Commander of the Royal Order of Francis I.

  • SICILY: EXALTATION OF THE CROSS IN PALERMO, MARSALA, RIESI, ALCAMO AND MESSINA

    pALERMO

    On September 14th, a representation of knights from the Sicilian delegation participated in the Solemnity of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross at S. Francesco di Paola Church in Palermo. At the end of the religious ceremony the Grand Prior’s message was read.

     

    MARSALA

    A group of the Constantinian Knights, spiritually referring to the Diocese of Mazara del Vallo, met and celebrated a Solemn Mass for the Exaltation of the Cross at the Diocesan Sanctuary of San Francesco di Paola in Marsala.

     

    Riesi

    A representation of Knights coming from Enna and Caltanissetta participated in the Eucharistic celebration for the Solemnity of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross at the Church of the Rosary of Riesi (CL). Msgr. Luigi Sansone presided over the liturgy and emphasized the importance of the Solemnity and the charitable activities of our Order. At the end of the celebration the message sent by the Grand Prior was read.

    On September 14th, a representation of Constantinian knights met in Alcamo where an Eucharistic celebration for the Solemnity of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross took place at the Church of the Guardian Angel of the Benedictine Sisters of Alcamo. Msgr. Aldo Giordano presided over the ceremony  and thanked all Knights and Dames for their presence.

     

    MESSINA

    Some Knights of the Order participated in the Eucharistic Celebration, presided over by Reverend Msgr. Mario Di Pietro, on the occasion of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross at the Church S. Giacomo Maggiore in Messina. At the end of the Celebration, the Grand Prior’s message was read.

  • LIGURIA: DONATION

    Suore di Calcutta a Genova Pra

    On the occasion of the celebration of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, the Ligurian Delegation donated two thousand packs to the convent of the Sisters of Mother Teresa of Calcutta located in Genova Prà. Sister Domina thanked the delegation for this donation. These free meals will be distributed to the needy population throughout the western part of Liguria.

  • TRIVENETO: EXALTATION OF THE CROSS

    TRIVENETO

    Venice, September 14th 2018. The members of the Delegation of the Triveneto were guests of the Scuola Grande di San Giovanni Evangelista in Venice for the celebration of the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. Before the usual procession and the celebration, a formative meeting took place. The Vice Delegate, Mr. Lucio Pasqualetto and Prince Don Giovanni Alliata di Montereale, Representative of Venice, greeted the participants,  Dr. Alberto Lembo, the Vice Delegate Mr. Federico Bulfone Gransinigh and Msgr. Orlando Barbaro took the floor and the delegation’s future activities were discussed. Then the solemn procession and the celebration took place. All Venetian Confraternities, the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, the Order of the Holy Sepulcher and several representatives of the Armed Forces participated.

  • PIEDMONT AND VALLE D’AOSTA: EXALTATION OF THE CROSS AND DONATION

    On September 14th, in Turin,a mass was held on the occasion of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, organized by the representative of the city of Turin, Mr. Massimo Trasforini. The Vice Delegate and many Knights attended.

    On September 13th, at the Antey-Saint-André church (Aosta), the Representative of Aosta, accompanied by some Knights and Dames, donated some health materials that can be useful for the local rehabilitation structure.

     

     

     

  • TUSCANY: EXALTATION OF THE CROSS

    TOSCANA

    San Martino in Freddana – Lucca, September, 15th 2018. The Tuscan Delegation, guided by the Vice Delegate Mr. Edoardo Puccetti, took part in the solemn Eucharistic celebration on the occasion of the feast of the Holy Cross. The liturgy was celebrated by the Vice Prior, Father Rodolfo Rossi, with Msgr. Giovanni Scarabelli. The event was enriched by the presence of H.E. the Prefect Mr. Francesco Paolo Tronca, General Secretary of the Constantinian Order, who greeted the Delegation with a message from HRH Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Grand Master.
