  • EMILIA- ROMAGNA: EXALTATION OF THE CROSS

    On the occasion of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, a solemn celebration took place in Piacenza. It was presided over by the Prior of the Delegation  who also read the important message addressed to all Knights and Dames by the Grand Prior, HE Cardinal Renato Raffaele Martino. On this occasion, the diploma as Knight Commander of Merit with star was given to HE the Prefect of Piacenza, Mr. Maurizio Falco by the Delegate, Mr. Corrado Sforza Fogliani, assisted by the Vice Delegate, Mr. Franco Marenghi.

    MODENA

    On September 14th the solemn celebration of the Holy Mass for the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross took place in Modena at the Basilica Abbazia di San Pietro. The celebration, attended by several Knights of the Representation of Modena and Reggio Emilia, a representative of the Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem and many people, was presided by Father Manuel Paganuzzi, Chaplain of the Representation, who read the message sent for the occasion by the Grand Prior.

  • LOMBARDY: EXALTATION OF THE CROSS

    Milan, September 14th 2018. His Eminence Msgr. Francesco Brugnaro, Archbishop of Camerino-San Severino, before the celebration, during a private ceremony, received his diploma as Knight Grand Cross of Ecclesiastical Grace by the Vice Delegate, Mr. Giuseppe Rizzani, in the presence of Mr. Gabriele Albertini, new representative for Milan and Msgr. Arnaldo Morandi, General Secretary of the office of the Grand Prior. Then the Archbishop presided over the Eucharistic celebration that was concelebrated by Msgr. Arnaldo Morandi, Father Luca Camisana and Msgr. Brugnaro. After the ceremony, a dinner was held at the Sant’Eustorgio restaurant where several charitable initiatives were promoted.

  • TRIVENETO: CONFERENCE

    Limena, September 15th 2018.On September 15th in Limena (Padua) an important convention promoted by Mr. Alberto Lonigo, Representative of Padua and Vicenza, was organized. Lots of speakers and scholars from Rome and Milan attended. The initiative and its topic (the defence of the Christian and European civilisation) have great relevance. This brilliant study has been carried out by the speakers, who are members of our Holy Order.

  • SICILY: FIRST DONATION OF THE MONTH IN MONREALE

    On September 12th, the first distribution of garments for children took place in Monreale at Maria SS degli Agonizzanti church.. The Vice Delegate, Mr. Orazio Aquinato, Mrs. Lia Giangreco, Mrs. Daniela Presigiacono and Mrs. Sonia Lo Monaco were present and welcomed the needy families.

    San Martino in Freddana – Lucca, September 11st, 2018. The Delegation of Tuscany, guided by the Vice Delegate, Mr. Edoardo Puccetti, who was assisted by Father Rodolfo Rossi, Vice Prior and by Mr. Roberto Orlandi, Secretary of the Delegation, donated some basic products to the C.A.I.P.I.T. centre, which is led by Father Rodolfo Rossi. Needy people of the community will be given these products.

  • CALABRIA: PROCESSION IN REGGIO CALABRIA

    On September, 8th 2018 the famous procession “Festa Madonna” took place in Reggio Calabria. Thousands of people participated. Even a large delegation of Constantinian Knights, coming from different Calabrian cities, guided by the Vice Delegate, attended. Msgr. Luigi Cannizzo, Vice Prior of the Delegation, expressed his gratitude to all the Knights, Dames and Benemerites, also on behalf of H.E. Vittorio Luigi Mondello, Archbishop Emeritus of Reggio Calabria-Bova, Prior of the Delegation.

  • LOMBARDY: ACTIVITIES OF THE DELEGATION

    As promised last year by the Vice Delegate, Mr. Giuseppe Rizzani to the Bishop of Piacenza, Msgr. Gianni Ambrosio, the restoration of the painting of St. George was offered to the Bishop. At the ceremony there were civil and religious authorities and a delegation of Knights of the Order.

    The Vice Delegate met tOn. Gabriele Albertini in Milan at the Società del Giardino, giving him the letter of designation as representative of the city of Milan.

     

    VARIE

    Concesio (BS) September, 5th 2018 – Mr. Francesco Spada and Mr. Daniele Gavezzoli, in the presence of Msgr. Fabio Peli, delivered numerous foodstuffs and some garments for eighty families who are assisted by the local Caritas.

  • SICILY: DONATION TO THE MISSION “SPERANZA E CARITA’”

    On Saturday 8th H.E. Msgr. Michele Pennisi, Archbishop of Monreale and Prior for Sicily, accompanied by the Vice Delegate and some Knights of the delegation, delivered 2000 kg of pasta to the Mission “Speranza e Carità”. It was sent by the Grand Master, HRH Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies, who was particularly impressed by the activities of the mission when he visited it last April and decided to get personally involved in donating both food and mattresses.

  • SICILY: BRICIOLE DI SALUTE IN S. MARTINO DELLE SCALE

    On September 7th, the Vice Delegate delivered some products to Father Bernardo, head of the Caritas of the Benedictine Abbey of S. Martino delle Scale (PA). Father Bernardo had requested those products to the Grand Prefect, HRH Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies, who told the Vice Delegate to meet the needs of the Benedictine Caritas and to deliver the products.
