Turin, July, 18th 2018. The Representative for the city of Turin, Mr. Massimo Trasforini, donated lots of packages of food to “Mensa del povero”, located at Saint Alphonsus Church in Turin, managed by deacon Enzo Vitulli, according to the project “Briciole di Salute”. The Vice Delegate, Mr. Mario Baschirotto, and some knights and aspiring knights attended as well.
The delegation participated in the solemn procession “Madonna del Carmine” in Cuneo. Mr. Baschirotto, Vice Delegate, Mr. Trasforini, representative for Turin, Father Augusto Piccoli and lots of Knights attended. A special thanks goes to Mrs. Simona Delfino, Dame of Alessandria. It was a wonderful ceremony.

Brescia, July, 10th 2018. Thanks to the collaboration with the diocesan Caritas, the volunteers of the Delegation bought 25 packages of foodstuff, guided by Mr. Maurizio Mirandola. The donation is part of the project “Briciole di Salute”.
These boxes have been delivered to the local Caritas and will be given to the needy families and old people.
On June 29th the 500th anniversary of the Benedictine cathedral of St. Peter’s benediction took place. The holy liturgy was presided by His Eminence Archbishop of Modena Msgr. Erio Castellucci. Lots of devoted people joined the celebration. The delegation was represented by the Vice Delegate Mr. Marenghi, who read a personal massage, written by the Prior of the delegation, to H.E. the Archbishop. His speech was full of approval, support and gratitude towards this reflection moment. Mr. Marenghi also thanked the Prior of the cathedral for his kind welcome and expressed, on behalf of the delegate, his appreciation for the event. After the ceremony a dinner, offered by the Benedictine community, took place.
A fully equipped residence for pilgrims was inaugurated in Santa Maria del Monte. It was donated by the delegation of Emilia Romagna and the Bank of Piacenza, on the occasion of the delivery of the Award “Solidarietà per la Vita” that has reached its 28th edition.
The Holy Communion was celebrated by His Eminence Msgr. Ovidio Vezzoli, Bishop of the Diocese of Fidenza.
Mr. Corrado Sforza Fogliani, Chairman of Executive Board of Piacenza Bank and Delegate of the Order, hopes the new premises could become a future permanent hosting residence for pilgrims visiting the Sanctuary.
Later the prestigious award “Solidarietà per la Vita” was delivered to Mrs. Giuseppina Schiavi, as acknowledgement of her efforts in many years of volunteer work.
Turino, July, 5th 2018. Mr. Massimo Trasforini, representative of the city of Turin, organised a cocktail in order to gather funds. The event’s purpose was to broadcast the Order’s activities. It was very successful. The Vice delegate, Mr. Baschirotto, attended as well.
