On September 14th, the Knights, Dames and the aspirants, together with their families, went in procession to the Marian Shrine of Castelpetroso (IS) on the occasion of the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. The solemn Mass, chaired by H.E. Mons. Camillo Cibotti, Bishop of Isernia and Venafro, took place just after the procession.

On Sunday, July 14th the delegation of Abruzzo met in Venafro to celebrate the beginning of summer. This year, the meeting was of great union and fraternity. In fact, the presence of the delegate of Abruzzo and Molise of the Sovereign and Military Order of Malta, Mr. Gaetano Blasetti, of the delegate of the Molise of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem Giuseppe Reale, as well as the delegates of Liguria Giovanni Chersola and Umbria Claudio Marciano de Scala enriched the the meeting. Lots of knights and dames as well as military and civil authorities from the region attended.
The Mass was celebrated by the Vicar General of the Diocese of Isernia-Venafro, Msgr. Rocco Iannacone.
At the end of the Eucharistic celebration, the delegate made a brief speech about the Order and its activities. A concert followed. At the end of the religious ceremony, people gathered with their families at the Albergo Ristorante Dora for a lunch .

On April 7th, the delegation along with the Antichi Cippi Association, the Abruzzo Region, the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park Authority and the municipality participated in a historic Convention where the project “Cippi Antichi Confini” was introduced. The morning began with the procession escorted by two riflemen, assisted by political and military authorities and by hundreds of people from many parts of Italy. Then the historical museum was inaugurated. The delegation donated to the museum a large wooden and crystal cabinet. The day ended with a friendly meeting with a tasting of local specialties.

a new summer is coming and as every year we’ll meet to celebrate the upcoming Summer holidays.
The “Summer Party” will be on Sunday, 15th of July, at 10.30am at the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta of Venafro (IS), in Duomo street, in the centre of the city.
Our Chaplains will officiate the Solemn Mess.
After the ceremony there will be an historical meeting, and later a lunch at Restaurant of Dora Hotel, located in Pozzilli, near Isernia, at km 24,600 state road 85 Venafra.
Tagliacozzo – April, 8th 2018. The Delegation of Abruzzi and Molise will celebrate the Easter Precept on the occasion of “Festa del Volto Santo” in Tagliacozzo during the Holy Mass which will be presided by H. Eminence Msgr. Armando Dini, Archbishop emeritus of Campobasso – Boiano at Chiesa Madre dei Santi Cosma e Damiano.

On 14, 15 and 16 September the Knights of the Abruzzo and Molise Delegation held a spiritual retreat in the Sanctuary of the Addolorata of Castelpetroso, on the Molise hills. Present were Delegate Franco Ciufo, the Chaplains and about sixty Knights, Dames and Applicants.
Special care was taken regarding the Applicants who, as is the custom for our Delegation, take part in a two year training course during which they are present for our activities and attend at least one spiritual retreat before becoming members of the Constantinian Militia. This year’s theme was “Working in the Vineyard of the Lord”. The chaplains underscored the evangelical meaning of the subject matter and the need for love of God and our neighbor, with special focus on understanding and forgiveness. During the three days various lessons were provided on the history of the Order: By-laws and purpose, history of the Kingdom of, the Two Sicilies and the Royal House of Bourbon, the politics, economy and finances of the Kingdom and the most important personages and events that conferred such honor upon the Order.
There was also a special presentation on the conversion of actress Claudia Koll. The Retreat coincided with the most important Festivities of the order: Exaltation of the Holy Cross and the Feast of The most Holy Mary of Sorrows whose name honors the Sanctuary of Castelpetroso, the Patron Saint of the Molise region.
