On July, 7th the Vice Delegate and Ms. Lo Monaco donated several products to the the retirement home Opera Pia Benedetto Balsamo in Monreale. These products were first delivered to the Vice Delegate by some volunteers who constantly help the delegation.

 

 

 

 

 
On July 4^th and 6^th the Vice delegate and some Knights gave Don Bernardo, manager of the caritas in S. Martino delle Scale, lots of products. The donation is part of Briciole di Salute.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
On July 6^th the Vice delegate donated a defibrillator to a no-profit sport association called Katana Ryu club, which has always helped young people to get rid of drugs and alcohol.

On June 30th, the Vice Delegate gave to the priest of Church La Magione, His Eminence Msgr. Salvatore Grimaldi, some medicines for early chilhood and some bottles of ensure plus, food for run-down people who suffer from terminal deseases. These drugs will be given to the nuns of Saint Vincent who requested them.

On June 16th, a concert directed by Mr. Palmeri took place at Basilica della Magione in Palermo. Talented and young musicians had the chance to perform. They also received a thank-you letter by the Vice delegate.

 

 

 

 

 

On June 23rd, a concert took place at Maria SS degli Agonizzanti church in Monreale as well.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On June, 12th a wonderful concert took place at Maria SS degli Agonizzanti church. It was organized by the Sicilian delegation and was directed by Mr. Giacchino. Young musicians had the chance to perform and received a thank-you letter at the end of the show.

On June, 7th a lot of packages of pasta, milk and nappies were given to Father Bernardo, who is the caritas supervisor in S. Martino delle Scale.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On June, 11th the Vice delegate and Msgr. Grimaldi donated 16kilos of fish, nappies, baby food and pasta to “Missione Speranza e Carità”. Children were also given some plushes and really appreciated this act of charity.

 

 

 

 

 

 

On June 13th, the Vice delegate and other volunteers donated nappies, milk and baby food to 50 families in Maria SS degli Agonizzanti church in Monreale.

 

 

 

 

 

On June, 18th Father Alberto Giardina welcomed some Knights of the Sicilian delegation who donated baby food, nappies and biscuits at Chiesa del S. Cuore in Trapani.

 

 

 

 

 

 

On June, 21st the Vice Delegate and another Knight donated some packages of food in Agrigento.

 

 

 

 

 

 

On June, 22nd  the Vice Delegate donated some packages of food and other products in Piana degli Albanesi.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On June, 22nd a donation took place in Acireale as well.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On June, 27th the second distribution of the month took place in Monreale.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On June, 6th, after meeting His Eminence Msgr. Mogavero and giving him his certificate as Ecclesiastical Knight Grand Cross of Grace, the Vice Delegate and two Knights of the delegation offered some packages of baby food and nappies to the Bishop.

 

 

 

 

On Sunday, 3rd June His Eminence Msgr. Pennisi, Archbishop of Monreale, presided a solemn celebration of Corpus Christi. H.E. Msgr. Di Cristina, Archbishop emeritus of Monreale and the General Vicar Msgr. Dolce. Even lots of Knights and Dames of the Sicilian delegation attended the liturgy. After the ceremony there was a procession and a wonderful concert. In the pictures you can see the beautiful Bourbon crest in the background. The crest’s restoration was inaugurated last April by HRH Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro and Grand Master of the Order and H.E. Msgr. Pennisi, Archbishop of Monreale and Prior of Sicily.

 

On June, 4th the Vice Delegate donated 15kg of fish to St.Mamiliano Church where there is a canteen which offers daily meals to the needy people.

On June, 3rd the Vice Delegate donated 200 kilos of pasta to the brothers of Maria SS Assunta confraternity, who regularly meet at Royal Carolina Church in Palermo. Needy families of the community will be given the food.
