  • TRIVENETO: FEAST OF THE EXALTATION OF THE HOLY CROSS

    The ceremony began at the Scuola Grande San Giovanni Evangelista in Venice with the Professor Bosello’s greetings and the presentation of the program by the Vice Delegate Lucio Pasqualetto, followed by a reflection of Vice Prior Mons. Antonio Meneguolo on the subject: “Religious aspect of the Holy Cross in the Constantinian Order”. Then, in a solemn procession, Knights went to the adjacent Basilica of San Giovanni, where Mons. Angelo Pagnan celebrated the Mass. Many people were present at the ceremony, in addition to several Knights of our Order, the Order of Malta and the Holy Sepulcher and many of the highest figures in the military and civil world. A “Vin d’Honneur” took place after the ceremony.

  • SARDINIA: CEREMONY OF THE EXALTATION OF THE HOLY CROSS

    Sestu, September 14th, 2019 – On the occasion of the celebration of the exaltation of the Holy Cross, the Sardinian delegation donated a defibrillator and a Van Ducato to the parish “Nostra Signora delle Grazie”.

    The delegate, the representative of Cagliari and Medio Campidano and several knights of the delegation participated in the ceremony.

  • TUSCANY: CEREMONY OF THE EXALTATION OF THE HOLY CROSS

    San Martino in Freddana, September 14th, 2019 – the Tuscan Delegation, led by the Vice Delegate Edoardo Puccetti, glorified the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross with a solemn ceremony officiated by Father Emanuele Borserini, assisted by Msgr. Giovanni Scarabelli and the Vice Prior of Tuscany Father Rodolfo Rossi, at the Church of San Martino in Freddana, near Lucca.

  • LOMBARDY: FEAST OF THE EXALTATION OF THE HOLY CROSS

    September 14th, 2019 – this year the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross was celebrated with two ceremonies, in the morning in Milan and in the afternoon in Brescia.

    In Milan the Holy Mass, presided by H.E. Msgr. Francesco Brugnaro, Archbishop Emeritus of Camerino, took place at the Basilica of San Giorgio al Palazzo. The Vice Delegate of Lombardy as well as several Knights and Dames attended.

    Msgr. Pierantonio Bodini presided the ceremony at the parish of San Gottardo in Brescia, while Prior Mons. Morandi gave the homily. After the celebrations, there was a moment of coexistence whose profits were delivered to the local Caritas.

  • SICILY: ACTIVITIES OF THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER

    The anniversary of Santa Rosalia‘s death, patron saint of Palermo and also of other cities and towns such as Ficuzza, was celebrated on September 4th. On the morning of Sunday, September 8th, H.E. Msgr. Michele Pennisi, archbishop of Monreale and prior Constantinian Sicily, celebrated a solemn holy mass in honor of Santa Rosalia.

    On Wednesday, September 11st, the first distribution of the month of the products for the project “Briciole di Salute” was made. Mrs. Daniela Prestigiacomo, Lia Giangreco and Sonia Lo Monaco distributed milk, diapers, baby food, cookies, pasta and numerous clothing, toys and a stroller, donated by Cinzia Macaluso, president of the CreArtEventi association.

    On September 12th, the activities of “Briciole di salute” were resumed in favor of the Franciscan Sisters who run the Diocesan Home of the “Holy Family” of Patti. This collaboration was desired by the Bishop of Patti H.E. Rev. Mgr. Guglielmo Giombanco. Mr. Tony Zarrillo and Francesco Guerrera donated several products to Sister Rita and Sister Shiny, including candies donated by the Fratelli Costa Confectionery Company in Piedimonte Etneo (CT).

  • LOMBARDY: DIPLOMA OF MERIT DELIVERY

    Brescia, September 11th, 2019 – Mr. Daniele Gavezzoli, on request of the Vice Delegate of Lombardy Dr. Giuseppe Rizzani and the Prior Mons. Arnaldo Morandi, gave the Executive Director of the company Maniva spa, Dr. Michele Foglio, the diploma of Merit of the Constantinian Order. On this occasion, the Knight illustrated the objectives that the Order has set itself, both spiritually and in charitable activities, receiving the support of society.

  • BRICIOLE DI SALUTE AT THE CASA DEL SORRISO OF MONREALE

    On Monday, September 9th, the vice-delegate and Mrs. Lia Giangreco handed over several products of the project “Briciole di salute” to the structure Casa del Sorriso of Monreale managed by Father Francesco. On this occasion too, the Tuscan delegation, which adopted the structure several months ago, sent 680 snacks for children. The Sicilian delegation delivered layers and about 15 kg of biscuits prepared by Mrs. Enza Pizzolato in her pastry shop in Alcamo. Ms. Antonietta, one of the leaders of the structure, which welcomes about 30 children, thanked both the delegation of Sicily and the delegation of Tuscany.

  • LOMBARDY: THE CONSTANTINIAN ORDER AND THE RED CROSS OF BRESCIA

    Brescia, September 9th, 2019 – In the light of the collaboration between the Constantinian Order and the Italian Red Cross, Mr. Daniele Gavezzoli, promoter of the initiative together with Mr. Maurizio Mirandola, Secretary of the Representation of Brescia, delivered to the local Red Cross of Brescia twelve pallets of natural water bottles, generously placed and made available by the company Maniva spa.
