Lucca, April 7th, 2019 – The Tuscan delegation, in collaboration with the cultural association La Boheme, organized a concert where Mrs. Silvana Froli and Mr. Michele Pierleoni performed. It took place at the concert hall of the Antica Zecca Museum in Lucca. The proceeds of the event were entirely donated to the Anti-Violence Center “Associazione Luna” in Lucca.


On April 7th, 2019, the representation of the city of Turin organized a Holy Mass in honor of St. George Martyr, patron of the Order, at the headquarters of Mount Grappa in Turin. The Mass was officiated by Father Diego Maritano. The vice delegate, some representatives of the Order of Malta and some children of soldiers who participate in peace missions abroad participated in the ceremony.

On April 5th, the vice delegate handed the archpriest of Carini, Father Vincenzo Ambrogio, some products for two children belonging to a disadvantaged family assisted by the parish priest.

On April 7th, the vice delegate delivered 100 kg of pasta to the needy people in the district of Guadagna. The quantity of pasta was delivered to the Brotherhood of the Assumption which supports the Royal Church Caroline. On Easter, this pasta and other food items will be distributed to families in need.

On April 6th, on the occasion of the thirteenth season of concerts of the Sicilian delegation, three students who have just graduated from piano and belonging to the Vincenzo Bellini conservatory of Palermo performed at the Maria SS degli Agonizzanti Church. The pieces of classical music were interspersed with poems read by the poets of the Association Polifonie d’Arte. During the evening, the vice delegate described the beauty and history of the church entrusted to the Constantinian Order.

On March 27th, the second distribution of March for children from zero to three years of the project Briciole di Salute took place at the premises of the Church Maria SS degli Agonizzanti in Monreale.

On March 22nd, the monthly distribution of products of the Briciole di Salute project took place in Piazza Armerina. Father Dario Pavone received biscuits, milk, baby food, diapers and croissants, which will be distributed to children from 0 to 3 years of needy families assisted by the parish.

April 5th, 2019 – A day of recollection took place at La Chapelle du Calvaire in Saint Roch Church for the petitioners of the French delegation of the Order. The Prior of the French delegation, Bishop Ravel, emphasized the importance of religion in our order and asked all knights and dames to participate in the works carried out by the delegation. Then the floor was given to the delegate, Mr. Camille Pascal, who recalled the origins and importance of Labarum in the Order. Finally, the two project leaders of the works of the delegation gave an update on the progress of the delegation’s activities. Afterwards the knights and dames gathered at Curé d’Ars’s room to spend a convivial moment with the attendants.


Portoferraio, April 6th, 2019 – Mr. Andrea Terreni, referent of the Elba Island, gave some basic foods to the parish priest Father Sergio Trespi of the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary and to the Caritas of the Cathedral of Portoferraio. These products will be distributed to the needy of the parish community. The donation is part of the project “Briciole di salute”.


On April 1st, some Dames and Knights participated in a spiritual retreat in preparation for Easter at the Church San Francesco in Caltanissetta. The meditation was led by Father Luigi Sansone, chaplain of the Order, who explained that Lent is characterized by an insistent invitation to conversion. Some indications were given: it is important to fast, to pray and practice charity, which reconnects us to the others.

Some representatives of the delegation of Liguria brought various food aids to the Missionary Sisters of Charity of Calcutta. The products will be used for the big evening meal that the Sisters prepare every day for many people in need. Indeed, requests for help have multiplied even more in recent months.

San Martino in Freddana, April 1st, 2019 – Father Rodolfo Rossi, Vice Prior of the Delegation, guided the third meeting of the cycle of spiritual meetings for the year 2019, with the intervention of Father Emanuele Borserini, director of the Liturgical Office of the Diocese of Massa – Carrara – Pontremoli. The meeting was held at the parish of San Martino in Freddana.
