  • SICILY: ACTIVITIES OF THE MONTH OF APRIL

    On April 8th, the vice delegate delivered 900 cookies to the structure Casa del Sorriso in Monreale, donated by the Delegation of Tuscany, which adopted the structure together with the Sicilian delegation. Indeed, in February the vice-delegate of Tuscany, together with Father Rodolfo Rossi and the vice delegate of Sicily, visited the structure and decided to help. The Sicilian delegation simultaneously donated diapers, baby food and 15 kg of cookies.

    On April 10th, the first monthly distribution of the project Briciole di Salute took place in Monreale. On this occasion, in addition to the products for early childhood, toys were also donated by the volunteer Sonia Lo Monaco.

    On April 13th, the usual distribution of food aid was carried out for S. Corrado canteen in Noto. The vice delegate gave the nuns of the community “Piccoli Frati Poveri e Suore Povere”, canned beans, tomato pulp and canned tuna.

    On April 14th, Palm Sunday, the Sicilian delegation participated in the solemn pontificate chaired by H.E. Rev. Mons. Michele Pennisi. The Archbishop Emeritus of Monreale H.E. Mons. Salvatore Di Cristina also attended and, along with Bishop Pennisi, was accompanied by a representation of Knights and by the vice delegate.

  • France: Visit at the Museum of the Legion of Honor

    April 13rd, 2019 – Knights and Dames of the French delegation accompanied a group of ten children from the parish of Bondy (Seine Saint Denis) for a visit to the Museum of the Legion of Honor on April 13rd, 2019. They were able to discover the history of the Legion of Honor as well as the chivalric orders.

  • TUSCANY: DONATION IN PESCIA

    Pescia, April 14th 2019 – The Knights of the Tuscan delegation, coordinated by the vice delegate, donated to the president of the Association Mente in Arte AICS, Mrs. Dora Padovan, a huge quantity of toys that will be given to the orphanages ASANTESANA and CHILDREN’S HOUSE OF BAKHITA (KENIA).

  • LOMBARDY: DONATION FOR DIOCESAN CARITAS

    Brescia, April 12th 2019 – Mr. Paolo Tarallo and Mr. Pietro Santacroce have acquired and delivered foodstuffs including about 1.000 food packages for the needs of many people assisted by the Dioceasan Caritas.

  • PIEDMONT AND VALLE D’AOSTA: HOLY MASS AND DONATION IN CUNEO

    On April 11th, the Easter Mass was celebrated in Borgo San Dalmazzo (CN). It was presided by Father Luca Lanave, Chaplain of the Order. Dario Bruno, Gianluca Bertoglio, Flavio Fantino and Piergiuseppe Costantino participated. Immediately afterwards, a food collection was held in favor of the parish of Borgo San Dalmazzo.

  • CALABRIA: PILGRIMAGE

    On April 4th, the Knights and Dames of the Delegation of Calabria went to a Pilgrimage to Umbria. On the morning of April 5th, after a brief visit in the city of Cascia, the first liturgical event took place with participation in the Holy Mass, celebrated by Archbishop Luigi Cannizzo, at the Basilica of Santa Rita da Cascia. At the end of the celebration, the delegation had the opportunity to enter the chapel for a brief and intense moment of prayer. In the afternoon, having arrived in Roccaporena, the pilgrims participated in the ritual of the Via Crucis. In the first hours of the following day, the Delegation went to Assisi, where the visit of the city took place and the Holy Mass was celebrated. The intense day in the city of Assisi ended, in the late afternoon, with the participation in the celebration of the Rosary.  The following day the delegation visited Caserta. At the end of this pilgrimage, the Vice Delegate Aurelio Badolati said: “I am happy for this beautiful Pilgrimage. It is a journey that began four years ago with the first pilgrimage in the city of San Francesco da Paola“; -and again- “During these four years there have been many achievements, thanks to the collaboration of all. I am convinced that in the future we will take so many satisfactions on the path of Faith and Solidarity. “

  • ABRUZZO AND MOLISE: HISTORICAL CONFERENCE AND PRESENTATION OF THE PROJECT “CIPPI ANTICHI DI CONFINI”


    On April 7th, the delegation along with the Antichi Cippi Association, the Abruzzo Region, the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park Authority and the municipality participated in a historic Convention where the project “Cippi Antichi Confini” was introduced. The morning began with the procession escorted by two riflemen, assisted by political and military authorities and by hundreds of people from many parts of Italy. Then the historical museum was inaugurated. The delegation donated to the museum a large wooden and crystal cabinet. The day ended with a friendly meeting with a tasting of local specialties.

  • TUSCANY: FOURTH SPIRITUAL MEETING

    San Martino in Freddana, April 8th, 2019 – Father Rodolfo Rossi, Vice Prior of the delegation, introduced the fourth meeting of the cycle of spiritual formation meetings for the year 2019 at the parish church of San Martino in Freddana, with the intervention of Mrs. Marcella Rosso, consultant and sex educator.

  • PIEDMONT AND VALLE D’AOSTA: MASS IN ALESSANDRIA


    On  April 5th, 2019, the representative for the cities of Asti and Alessandria, Mrs. Simona Delfino, organized a Mass at the Cathedral of Alessandria in honor of our patron saint Martyr, celebrated by the Knight of Ecclesiastical Grace, Father Augusto Piccoli and Father Eugenio. In addition, on this occasion, the new Labarum was blessed. Several Knights, Dames and the Vice Delegate participated.
