On February 7th, Mr. Erik Franza and Mr. Carlo Fedeli, members of the Turin Alpine Brigade and sympathizers of the Order, organized a donation of food products. This donation is part of the “Briciole di Salute” project. Mr. Pietro Bruno, Mr. Dario Bruno and Father Luca Lanave took part in the donation and joined in a moment of sincere prayer during which the Alpine prayer was also read.
Lucca, February 5th, 2019 – Mr. Edoardo Puccetti, Vice Delegate, together with Mrs. Rosalba Valentini and Mr. Roberto Orlandi, donated to the President of the Anti-Violence Center of the Luna Onlus Association, Mrs. Daniela Elena Caselli, fabrics of various types that will be used in her sewing school. The donation is part of the “Albarosa” project.
On February 2nd the vice delegate, accompanied by Mr. Matteo Bertino, Mr. Alessandro Balsamo, Mr. Marco Milazzo and Father Dario Pavone delivered several products at the S. Stefano church. The donation is part of the project “Briciole di Salute”. In addition to diapers, baby food, cookies, milk and pasta, lots of clothes and shoes for children from zero to three years old were also delivered.
On the same day, the vice delegate was received by H.E. Archbishop Rosario Gisana, bishop of the diocese at the Episcope of the Diocese of Piazza Armerina. During the meeting, the dates of the next liturgical and charitable activities were established. The bishop congratulated the vice delegate for the constant presence of the delegation in all charitable activities. The vice delegate also gave Msgr. Gisana his diploma of Knight Grand Cross of Ecclesiastical Grace.

Montenero (Livorno), February 3rd, 2019 – On February 3rd eight new members took part in the investiture ceremony at the Sanctuary of the Vergine delle Grazie in Montenero and became Knights of the delegation. The mass was celebrated by the Prior of the delegation of Tuscany H.E. Bishop Simone Giusti, Bishop of Livorno. H.E. Prince Francesco Ruspoli, Grand Chancellor, Mr. Edoardo Puccetti, Vice Delegate of the Delegation, Mr. Antonio di Janni, Vice Delegate of the Delegation of Sicily, and many Dames and Knights of the Delegation attended. According to the new investiture rite, the ceremony was completely handled by the Vice Prior of Tuscany, Father Rodolfo Rossi.
Lucca, January 31st, 2019 – Some Knights and Dames of the Tuscan delegation, guided by the Vice Delegate, attended the solemn liturgical ceremony presided over by Bishop Giovanni Scarabelli and assisted by Father Rodolfo Rossi at the Church of the Most Holy Trinity in Lucca. The liturgy took place to remember the figure of Maria Cristina of Savoy on the fifth anniversary of her beatification. Some members of the Association of Culture Conventions Maria Cristina di Savoia attended.
On January 31st, some Knights and Ladies of Brescia, Mantua and Cremona supported the activities of the Association “Tecnici, Sanitari e Volontari” of the Province of Brescia. The association proposes to perform free x-ray exams for all people who can not go to the hospital, thus helping the sick who have severe physical and psychological diseases. Thirty Knights participated in the event, generously offered by a Knight of the representation of Brescia. Msgr. Arnaldo Morandi, Prior of Lombardy and Representative of Brescia and Mantua, also illustrated the program for the year 2019.

Aversa, January 29th, 2019 – On the anniversary of her death, Blessed Maria Cristina, Queen of the Two Sicilies, was remembered with a Mass at the Cathedral of Aversa presided over by H.E. Msgr. Angelo Spinillo, Bishop of the city. At the end of the celebration, organized by the local offices of the Maria Cristina di Savoia Cultural Conferences, an image of the Sovereign was blessed, embellished by an altarpiece created and donated by the Neapolitan Art Master Mario Compostella, official supplier of the Royal House of Bourbon Two Sicilies. Many Knights and Dames of the delegation also attended.
