Gerace (RC) The ceremony of investiture of new Knights and Dames of the Constantinian Order will take place On October 28, in the presence of H.R.H. Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Grand Prefect.
This important ceremony will be presided by His Most Reverend Eminence Cardinal Raffaele Martino, Grand Prior, and will be concelebrated by the Prior of the Delegation, H.M.R.E., Mons. Vittorio Luigi Mondello, Archbishop of Reggio Calabria – Bova.

The matter was discussed on September 29 in Naples in the course of a conference organized to celebrate the 140th anniversary of the death of the Venerable Cardinal Sixtus Riario Sforza. The meeting was held in the hall of the Library of Castel Capuano, in the presence of the Bishop of Aversa, Angelo Spinillo.

THE SARDINIAN DELEGATION RESUMES ITS ACTIVITIES
Cagliari, October 2 2017 – The Delegation of Sardinia resumed its spiritual activities. At 1700 hours in the Chapel of the Hospital of San Giovanni di Dio in Cagliari, Don Francesco Farris celebrated Holy Mass in honor of St. George the Martyr and the Emperor St. Constantine. During mass he remembered the much missed dearly departed Mons. Ottorino Pietro Alberti, Knight Commander of our Order as well as all other deceased Knights.
The ceremony was attended by attorney Massimiliano Masia, Delegate, Knight Franco Locci, Secretary of the Delegation, Knight Antonello Sebis, Treasurer of the Delegation, Knight Commander the Hon. Dott. Felice Contu, Knight Giampiero Atzeri, as well as several decorated members and friends of the Order. -
TUSCANY – CRUMBS OF HEALTH
Viareggio LU, 27 September 2017 –The Project Crumbs of Health has made its appearance in Tuscany also. The Knights and Dames of the Delegation have donated food items and other necessities to the Social Cooperative Aurora, an organization that assists children ages 0 to 3.

ACTIVITIES OF THE SICILIAN DELEGATION DURING THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER – CRUMBS OF HEALTH AND CARDIO PROTECTED CITY
Many actions of solidarity per were carried out also during the month of September by the Sicilian Delegation. Especially the Project Crumbs of Health which was repeated in several dioceses. The distribution in Monreale took place between 6 and 20 September. Both times items for ovber35 families were donated: including 200 liters of milk, 60 containers of Humana 1 milk, 150 kg of pasta, 30 containers of homogenized baby food, 200 packages of biscuits and about 200 packages of diapers of various sizes. 
On September 15, in Piazza Armerina, in the presence of His Most Rev Mons. Rosario Gisana, Bishop of Piazza Armerina and Knight Commander of Ecclesiastical Grace of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St. George, the priest of the Church of S.Stefano was provided with a donation of different types of necessities for people in need. 
Meals for the “Morsel of the Poor” in Piazza Armerina were also prepared. The meals were cooked and distributed to the senior citizens who were guests of the facility. 
The program Crumbs of Health was also repeated in the city of Trapani where products for children were distributed in the Church of the Sacred Heart. 
Among the many activities that must be mentioned is the donation of a defibrillator to the city of Barrafranca (donated to the local soccer team) and the monthly double donation of fish (more than 50 kg per month provided from April to the present) to the soup kitchen of San Mamiliano in Palermo, on 5 and 28 September, a facility where volunteers prepare meals for needy families which can then be taken away to be eaten in the individual’s respective home.

TRIVENETO REGION – FEAST OF THE EXALTATION OF THE HOLY CROSS – SEPTEMBER 14, 2017.
Venice, 14 September 2017. The Triveneto Delegation celebrated the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in the Great School of St. John the Evangelist together with the Venetian Confraternities of the Order of Malta and the Order of the Holy Sepulcher.
The ceremony honored the precious relic of the Holy Cross in the Basilica of Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari, followed by the Franciscan Contemplation of Father Lino Pellanda, parish priest of Frari and the traditional processions up to the Church of St. John the Evangelist, where Holy Mass was celebrated by His Most Rev. Eminence Mons. Dino de Antoni. Bishop Emeritus of Gorizia and Knight Commander of Ecclesiastical Grace.
In attendance were the Vice Delegates, Mr Federico Bulfone Gransinigh and Mr Lucio Pasqualetto, rappresentative for Venice Prince Don Giovanni Alliata di Montereale, Mr Giorgio Miccoli and numerous Knights and Dames of the Constantinian Order. -
H.R.H. THE GRAND MASTER IN NOTO, 22-24 SEPTEMBER 2017
On September 23 H.R.H. Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro, visited Sicily to take part in a number of charity activities in the city of Noto. He was accompanied by his spouse, H.R.H. Princess Camilla, Duchess of Castro, and by his daughters, T.R.H. Princesses Maria Carolina and Maria Chiara.During the morning the Grand Master, accompanied by Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Grand Prefect, donated three semiautomatic defibrillators on behalf of the Constantinian Order to the State Comprehensive School “G. Melodia” in Noto. 
The donation is part of the vaster project titled “Cardio Protected City” that was initiated last year and that involved numerous Italian delegations, with the donation of first aid equipment for cardiorespiratory arrest.
Given the financial difficulties of many of the families of the area, and in response to a request by the Principal of the Melodia School, the Constantinian Order decided to purchase the school books required for all the students of the school for the year 2017-2018. This action inaugurated the Project “Book Coupon”. An additional donation of toys was also made for the smaller children of the School.In the afternoon the Royal Family visited the bishopric of Noto and distributed essential items for children ages 0 to 3 years as part of the Crumbs of Health Program. They also donated a semiautomatic defibrillator to a local youth soccer team as well as clothes donated Mr He Jianxing (Entreprise HELI), Mr Ren Gael (VEGA’S) and Mr Jiang Yimin (GRASSTAR).
On Sunday, September 24, following Holy Mass celebrated in the Cathedral of Noto by His Most Rev. Eminence Mons. Antonio Staglianò, Bishop of Noto and Knight Commander of Ecclesiastical Grace, a ceremony was held to confer diplomas to several Knights and Dames of the Order. In his remarks H.R.H., the Duke of Castro and Grand Master, thanked all those who work generously to carry out the activities of the Order and pointed out that when he was young he also held the title of Duke of Noto.
For this reason, in noting the decision taken as Head of the Royal House to change the rules of succession by adopting the rule of absolute primogeniture, H.R.H. Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies stated that the title due to his second-born, Maria Chiara, be Duchess of Noto. Succession of titles in the Royal House of Bourbon Two Sicilies contemplates that the title Duke of Castro is to be attributed to the head of the Family, the title of the Duchy of Calabria to the first heir and that of the Duchy of Noto to the second heir in the line of succession.

PADOVA 23 SEPTEMBER 2017 – CONFERENCE ON MEDICAL PREVENTION
On September 23 the Conference on Medical Prevention took place in the Palazzo Zacco, in Prato della Valle. The Conference was organized by the delegations of Padova and Vicenza as well as the Army Club of Padova, directed by Colonel Carlo Libanori.
The large number of participants confirmed the great interest in the comments presented by Mr Sergio Garofalo on “Preventing skin ageing and skin tumors” and the presentation by Mr Domenico Trovato who spoke on “Prevention of cardiovascular diseases”.
The clarity and the linearity of the presentations, accompanied exemplifying slides, aroused great interest among the public.
At the conclusion of the conference Mr Alberto Lonigo, Representative for Padova and Vicenza, took the floor and spoke of the social importance of this meeting for purposes of the Order, which is especially interested in assisting the less fortunate and protecting our spiritual tradition.
After thanking H.E. the Grand Inquisitor Mr Alberto Lembo and Mr Lucio Pasqualetto, Vice Delegate of the Triveneto Region for their participation, the Representative stated that he hoped this was only the first of a series of such profitable and beneficial initiatives.

2017 SPIRITUAL RETREAT OF THE ABRUZZO ANDMOLISE DELEGATION
On 14, 15 and 16 September the Knights of the Abruzzo and Molise Delegation held a spiritual retreat in the Sanctuary of the Addolorata of Castelpetroso, on the Molise hills. Present were Delegate Franco Ciufo, the Chaplains and about sixty Knights, Dames and Applicants.Special care was taken regarding the Applicants who, as is the custom for our Delegation, take part in a two year training course during which they are present for our activities and attend at least one spiritual retreat before becoming members of the Constantinian Militia. This year’s theme was “Working in the Vineyard of the Lord”. The chaplains underscored the evangelical meaning of the subject matter and the need for love of God and our neighbor, with special focus on understanding and forgiveness. During the three days various lessons were provided on the history of the Order: By-laws and purpose, history of the Kingdom of, the Two Sicilies and the Royal House of Bourbon, the politics, economy and finances of the Kingdom and the most important personages and events that conferred such honor upon the Order.
There was also a special presentation on the conversion of actress Claudia Koll. The Retreat coincided with the most important Festivities of the order: Exaltation of the Holy Cross and the Feast of The most Holy Mary of Sorrows whose name honors the Sanctuary of Castelpetroso, the Patron Saint of the Molise region.

EXALTATION OF THE CROSS – EMILIA ROMAGNA
On Monday, September 18, the Delegation of Emilia Romagna organized a training Conference for aspiring Knights and Dames. The conference was chaired by Msgr. Arnaldo Morandi, Secretary General of the Office of the Grand Prior and H.E. Mr. Alberto Lembo, Grand Inquisitor. Mr. Franco Marenghi, Vice Delegate for Emilia Romagna and Mr. Ilario Pagani, Representative for Modena and Reggio Emilia also attended the conference, along with other Knights, Dames and aspiring members.
