In collaboration with the Caritas, the Calabrian delegation offered hot meals for 150 needy people of the territory at the premises of the Parish of Candelora.

Pizzo Calabro (VV). On November 10^th a Mass was celebrated by Father Pasquale Rosano in the presence of several knights coming from different provinces of the region at the ancient church of Saint Georges in Pizzo Calabro. Captain Giuseppe Spera, who was given by Mr. Aurelio Badolati, a book on the activities of the Constantinian Order, and Mr. Mimmo Pacifico attended. At the end of the celabration, a donation of food was carried out for the needy families of the community at the premises of the oratory.

On the occasion of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, some Knights and Dames of the Calabrian delegation, guided by the Vice Delegate, Mr. Aurelio Badolati, met at the Santa Maria della Candelora Church in Reggio Calabria. The celebration was presided over by the Prior of the Delegation H.E. Msgr. Vittorio Mondello, Archbishop Emeritus of Reggio Calabria-Bova, and concelebrated by Msgr. Luigi Cannizzo, Vice Prior. On this occasion, a merit medal was given to Mariangela Preta and to Mrs. Ludovica Labruna.

On September, 8th 2018 the famous procession “Festa Madonna” took place in Reggio Calabria. Thousands of people participated. Even a large delegation of Constantinian Knights, coming from different Calabrian cities, guided by the Vice Delegate, attended. Msgr. Luigi Cannizzo, Vice Prior of the Delegation, expressed his gratitude to all the Knights, Dames and Benemerites, also on behalf of H.E. Vittorio Luigi Mondello, Archbishop Emeritus of Reggio Calabria-Bova, Prior of the Delegation.

Cotronei (KR) – On August 19th lots of devoted people received the precious Relics of Saint Francis of Paola, that were guarded in Saint Francis of Paola monastery since 1635.

The delegation of Calabria took part in this important meeting, which ended up with a solemn liturgy. (more…)

Francavilla Angitola (VV) -During the month of August the Calabrian Delegation wanted to help Father Giovanni Tozzo. Some Knights of the Delegation delivered a lot of products that will be given to several families of the area.

The priest thanked the Constantinian Order for its charitable initiatives and at the same time underlined the total absence of aid especially during the summer.

Siderno (RC), July, 22nd. Knights, Dames and volunteers of the delegation, guided by Mr. Badolati, Vice Delegate, met in Siderno on July, 22nd.  They offered many products to the main church of the town and then met Father Nicola Commisso Meleca, who held a meeting on charity. He also presided over a solemn liturgy.

June, 13th 2018. Some Knights and Dames of the delegation of Calabria decided to organize and share a charitable lunch with the needy people of the town at the Chiesa di Santa Maria della Candelora. The delegation collaborated with the local caritas and another charitable Association and prepared a lot of meals for 150 people. The afternoon was devoted to deep reflections, in the presence of the Vice delegate and Msgr. Canizzo, Vice Prior.

June, 9th 2018. The delegation of Calabria donated some packages of food to Father Giuseppe Saraceno in Pellegrina di Bagnara (RC).
